“You’re right, Nitya. Kabhi na kabhi toh hume khud ke liye step lena hi chahiye. You have certainly boosted my morale.” Aniket beams at her.

“You think I did so? For me, it is always Ruhana. Vo hi mujhe motivate karti rehti hain. Aap jaante hain, mere theatre group ke rehearsals pe bhi wo mere saath jaati hain, aur phir Dad se dant bhi khaati hain.” Nitya says.

“Matlab tumhare liye vo daant khaati hain, aur tum has rahi ho?” He glances at her questioningly.

“Vo unko kehti hain ki mere sath jaa rahi hain, aur kabhi kabhi kaam ke beech mein bhi aa jaati hain

“Vo unko kehti hain ki mere sath jaa rahi hain, aur kabhi kabhi kaam ke beech mein bhi aa jaati hain. Mere dad ko lagta hain ki all of this is good occasionally, par meri behen ko lagta hain ki mujhe aage badhna chahiye. Iss trip aur fest ke liye bhi Ruhana ne hi hamare parents ko manaya tha.” She replies, remembering that conversation with her parents.

“Toh isliye ab apne liye step lene ka time aa gaya hain.” She says, and their eyes meet for a few minutes.

Nitya is the first one to come out of the trance when Ruhana comes by her side and takes her seat. Meanwhile, their order is also served, but Vineet is nowhere to be seen.

“Yeh Vineet kahan reh gaya? Main dekh ke aata hoon. Excuse me.” Aniket excuses himself from the girls and begins to look for his brother.

Meanwhile, he notices Vineet walking out of the washroom area. He signals him, and he joins the other three for dinner. Ruhana and Vineet look away from each other; they had called a truce for their siblings’ sake.

As Ruhana comes inside the restaurant after talking to Barkha, she collides with Vineet once again. They glare at each other, but this time, Ruhana realizes that it’s her fault as she is looking at her phone and checking the message that Barkha has sent to her.

“I am sorry… it was my fault.”

“Tumne itni jaldi sorry bol diya? Wowww! That’s amazing.” he replies sarcastically.

“Look! Mr. Vineet, iss baar meri galti thi toh maine sorry bol diya. Lekin picchli baar galti tumhari thi, you know. Lekin tumse toh sorry bhi nahi bola gaya.” Ruhana makes a face.

“Oh hello…..” Vineet retorts, but Ruhana interrupts.
