"In other words you forced yourself. I hate it if someone bears me out of duty or obligation. Believe me, I'll leave again but I won't like anyone thinking of my companionship as an empty commitment," he murmured, sternly.

Unaiza panicked and shook her head. "No, I didn't force myself. I liked the idea of this marriage."

His eyes bore into her with satire. "You liked that?"

She just focused her attention on his attractive stubbled chin. "I mean, what could be better for me than to stay at this house for the rest of my life? My first marriage experience was horrible and I feared my fate once again. So there was no coercion included in my decision."

Huzaifa smiled darkly. "That was a smart move. I admire that."

She just stared at him without uttering a word. His mind games were making her anxious and she didn't know what was his motive behind doing all this.

"So in other words, you are okay with that idea that you are willing to be that wife of mine to please the family, the relatives, and those sophisticated people. You know that term khandani biwi. In this way, Glasses, you are also okay with the fact that I can someday marry anyone else with my own choice because all you need is the comfort of this house and my name to stay here forever," he asserted, lifting his perfectly shaped alluring lips.

Unaiza's eyes widened in shock. What was he saying?

"But---"

"I will hate the jealous shit, Glasses. That's plainly a marriage of convenience. Don't worry you will get all your rights. I won't deprive you of any one of it. I promise to give the title of the mother of my first-ever child to you," he announced, unapologetically.

The whole blood from her body perhaps gathered in her cheeks at his statement. A smirk arose on his lips seeing that blush and then he bent near her.

"Let's get everything clear today. I am like a free bird, Unaiza. If you will try to cage me or use anyone else to help you, I will be like that sharp eagle and become more difficult for you in return that you will find relief in freeing me again. In between our dynamic, no one else should come and talk. As I said before, I will give you your deserving rights and status," he grumbled proudly.

Unaiza again didn't know what to say here. She thought her mind had stopped working. This guy's twisted analogies and games were getting on in her head.

Huzaifa winked at her before taking a few steps back. She suddenly felt the jam had been abolished. The mess which was affecting her heart, mind, body, and soul. "Have a tight sleep, soon to be Mrs Huzaifa number one. I will meet you soon again."

He stepped towards the door before stopping again. "By the way, you are looking absolutely stunning in this dress. I can't wait for the day you will be mine for forever."

The sound of the door clicking again had made Unaiza's senses work again. She exhaled a breath that she had been holding since Huzaifa appeared here. His words replayed in her mind and this made her flush again. She walked over to the bed and lay flat on it.

Did he find her stunning a while ago? Did he say why he couldn't wait to make her his for forever? A timid smile crossed her lips.

Luck was just a chance given to perhaps everyone once in a while. Some knew how to use it, some wasted it. She didn't want to waste the chance at all.

There was so much hustle and bustle in there. The whole house was decorated and fragrant with beautiful and fresh yellow and white flowers. The stairs especially looked incredible as the flowers enhanced their contour. The guests started to come and there was giggling of girls heard everywhere.

Unaiza's back now became a stone after sitting in the same posture for more than an hour. A beautician was applying mehndi on her hands and forearms. One of her limbs was done and the other just started. Her eyes were already getting closed due to fatigue. She didn't know how would she survive till the ceremony. But there was one thing which was keeping her alive and that was the ethereal feeling of becoming Huzaifa within no time.

She still couldn't believe in her own luck.

At night, their mehndi ceremony was decided. She was beyond happy about this. Even though Huzaifa had mentioned the restrictions which were associated with this marriage but she was delighted because she would be getting his companionship and his name.

Love had made her weird totally.

"Want to drink some water, Unaiza?" Ishmal came forward, holding a glass of water in her hand.

She nodded with a smile. "Yes."

Ishmal attached the rim of the glass near her lips. She now realized how thirsty she was and started drinking the water eagerly as though she had been in the desert before this.

All of a sudden, her peripheral vision caught the sight of Huzaifa in the corridor upstairs. He who was just passing by, stopped and gave her a detailed look. His gaze fled from her mehndi-laden hands and then her face. His lips slightly curled as he regarded her with a heated intensity. Unaiza choked on the water and started coughing.

Ishmal became worried and rubbed her hand over her back. "Are you alright?"

Unaiza sniffed in a breath and then smiled at her apologetically. "I am fine. I perhaps took a big sip."

Ishmal tugged a wandering strand of her hair behind her ear. "Want some more?"

Unaiza shook her head. "No, I am full."

Her gaze darted back to upstairs where Huzaifa was still standing. He was laughing under his breath with that mesmerizing look on his face. When their eyes met, she felt fireworks all around. Huzaifa removed a yellow flower from the fence of the stairs and as she was sitting just under them, his throw made the flower land directly on her lap.

Unaiza's mouth fell wide open in surprise but when she looked up Huzaifa was long gone. Everyone else noted the flower but gave to the fact that wind might have made it come onto her lap.

Unaiza closed her eyes as she felt her erratic heartbeat by herself.

That wasn't even the start and she was getting caught in this dangerous addiction.

What would happen when she had to actually live under that charmer's charm?
