Usually, the stories have, the male lead as the wealthy, the practical and the ideal human while the female lead is shown to be toiling and dealing with a lot of issues. But "The Chocolate Milkshake" is dissimilar to this. The male lead, Sayurjyo instead is a cafe owner, who is dealing with his past concussions while the female lead, Abhika is a medical topper who is ticking each crate of her dreams. The story also concentrates on Aryaveer and Ishani, a former couple trying to move on from each other but finds each other standing in front of them, whenever they need a shoulder to lend on.
