CHAPTER 14 - HILDA

    Veronica smiled as she saw that they are finally reached their destination. "Let's go"  Abayomi said as she raced down,  "don't go too far"  Ife called out. Hilda is also known as the "fairy's land", this is because it was were fairies resided, then when the humans came, they had an agreement with the fairies there to live in harmony with one another.
    
       "Woah, this town is very beautiful, it feels like I'm in wonderland"  Abayomi said in awe, "this is because of the blessings of the fairies, as long as the humans don't rebel against them things will continue like this"  Ife said. " Just wait till we get to the mountains" Veronica said. "Thief  ! Thief ! Catch him"  a voice cried, they turned around to see a man with a mask and a black cloak running while a woman was shouting. "I got this one"  Saying that Abayomi ran after the man living them behind. She ran at super Sonic speed, caught the man and pinned him to the ground putting his hands behind his back. Due to her strength the man couldn't easily free himself from her grip. The people watching cheered as Abayomi returned what was stolen to the woman
     "Thank you so much brave girl"  the woman said "no problem miss" Abayomi said. "Isn't she amazing Amare ?"  Veronica said as she turned to Amare with stars in her eyes. He was taken aback by her sudden movement, but at the same time he began studying her facial features noticing how pretty she is. "Eh Amare ? AMARE !",  He snapped back to reality to realize Veronica looking at him with a puzzled look and her face "we've been calling you for some time now, why space out now"  Ife said. "O - oh sorry, yeah she is amazing"  Amare said in an awkward manner. Abayomi returned back to them and they continue to walk, taking some corners until they got to a road which had a sign saying
       "Hilda mountains this way"
    They took the path, indeed the place could be called a sight for sore eyes. The grass and trees there were evergreen, everywhere you look flowers could be seen, various kinds like aster, daffodil, tulip, Daisy, sunflowers, morning Glory, hibiscus and so on. The streams was as clear as crystal, "this got to be wonderland" Abayomi said happily "but we didn't pass through a rabbit hole" Amare said "yeah yeah whatever"  Abayomi replied. Just at that moment the head rustling in the bushes and became alert. They stared at the bushes for a while and heard the rustling again which made them more alert. A Griffin jumped out of the bushes and growled at them. Veronica pulled out her sword and striked the animal "strange Griffins don't normally reside here"  Ife said.
      At that moment The Griffin disappeared "an illusion ! but by who ?"    Amare wondered, ife then heard some giggling from a tree and use her wind magic to capture the culprit. "Ahhhhh ! Put me down"  a voice said. Ife released her magic which made the person to have a rough fall. They looks over to see who it was, it was a young boy with red hair, most of the clothes he wore was red and by the wings on his back, one could tell that he is a fairy.
      "I can explain"  the boy said. He explained that he was playing a prank on them to see their reaction but with the way they glared at him, he immediately apologized. He introduced himself as Nathaniel and ask them why they came here. Veronica explains their mission and Nathaniel decided to help them lead the way to where the mage resides. Along the way, upon learning the fact that Ife is a fairy just like him, Nathaniel began to ask her numerous questions which stressed her out, she didn't want to shut him up because she felt it would be rude so she endured.

      "This is where the mage resides" Nathaniel said as they came to a stop in front of a tower, before they could knock the doors opened to reveal a man, he had black hair, wore a long sleeve black coat with a white shirt and black trousers, he had amber eyes.

     "Welcome"  the man said with a smile on his face
       "We meet again Jared"  Veronica thought
