the tavern,
eastern earth kingdom.

"OUT OF MY WAY," ZUKO SNAPPED AS HE PUSHED his way through the crowd. The drunkards glare or enjoy their mirth, laughing obnoxiously at the Prince. If their disrespect gets to him, he doesn't let it show. After all, a tavern was hardly the place he'd go to seek esteem. Zuko had always hated men when they were drunken. Painful memories strike him even now of his father and his men mocking him as a boy. Whilst the Fire Lord needed no substance to enhance his cruelty, it was his unbridled honesty that twisted the knife. So, when an inebriated man knocks over his elderly uncle, Zuko has no problem in introducing him to the ground. His temper flared at the outright discourtesy of it all and his men have to reel him back from throttling him. His fists are hot but he tries to forget it. After all, he was here for a reason. It was up to him to focus on that. "Step aside, filth."

Iroh smiles apologetically. "He means no offense! I'm certain you bathe regularly!"

Zuko rolls his eyes. "Uncle, why are you defending him? He could have seriously hurt you!"
