Two days had passed since the bands decision to go to California and turn their dreams into reality. Now, amidst the pouring rain, the band gathered to load up the van for the long road ahead. Eddie secured their gear to the roof of the van, ensuring everything was in place for the trip.

In the front of the van, Jenn sat in the passenger seat with Graham in the driver seat, ready to take on the first shift of driving. They exchanged a glance, silently acknowledging the adventure that lay before them.

Suddenly, Jenn heard a familiar voice calling out from behind. "Got room for one more?" Camilla's voice rang out, breaking through the patter of raindrops. Excitement surged through Jenn as she turned to see her friend standing there, a smile spreading across her face.

"Cami!" Jenn exclaimed, her voice filled with joy as Camilla climbed into the back of the van, joining the now smiling Billy. The sight of them together answered the unspoken question lingering in Jenn's mind if the two were going to split due to this move, and she couldn't help but feel happy for her friend.

As they prepared to hit the road, Jenn stole a moment to glance at Graham. His smile mirrored her own, and for a brief moment, she allowed herself to bask in the warmth of their shared excitement. Jenn couldn't shake the lingering tug of her feelings for Graham. With the band's journey to California becoming more real by the minute, she pushed those thoughts aside,  knowing this might really become real for them. Her feelings for graham were still as strong as ever, but now that things were getting serious for the band, it brings her further away from ever mentioning them.

A few hours in, everyone in the back of the van had fallen asleep, leaving Jenn and Graham awake with the road in front of them. In the soft glow of the dashboard lights, Jenn began to hum a familiar melody, the notes drifting gently through the air. Graham's ears perked up at the sound, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips as recognition dawned on him.

"Is that...?" he began, his voice trailing off as he turned to look at Jenn, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. He recognized it as the melody she played for him when they were only fourteen. The melody of 'dreams' she had finished writing the other night.

Jenn met his gaze with a smile, confirming his suspicions. "Yeah, it is," she replied, her voice soft with nostalgia. "I finished it the other night after we left the show."

Graham couldn't help but scoff playfully, feigning mock hurt. "And you haven't played it for me yet?" he teased, his tone laced with amusement.

Jenn chuckled, her cheeks flushing slightly as she glanced out the window, contemplating whether to share her song with him. With a quick glance over her shoulder to ensure the others were still asleep, she turned back to Graham, her expression earnest.

"Look, if I sing it for you..." she began, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "You can't tell them until I'm ready," she added firmly, her gaze pleading with him to respect her wishes.
