4. Sex talk

Mina inhales deeply through her nose as traps Dahyun's bottom lip between hers. Her hands trail up and down, along the curves of Dahyun's body. She presses harder into the pale girl, pushing her against the kitchen countertop.

"Mina." Dahyun moans when Mina kisses jaw, her hands find their way underneath Dahyun's shirt that she has successfully untucked from her skirt.

"Mina, I'm not ready yet." Dahyun stammers and Mina reluctantly pulls back. She smirks at the flushed look on Dahyun's face and the way her lips are a little swollen from the kisses.

Yes, they've been together for six months and still have not done the deed.

Dahyun explains to her that she's only ever had sex with one person and it didn't end well, so she's been insecure ever since . This has been a problem in her previous relationships, but Mina has respected her wishes and told her that she'll wait until she's comfortable.

Mina runs her finger through Dahyun's hair before placing one more kiss on her lips. It's more gentle this time, almost reassuring the younger girl. "I'm sorry I got a little carried away, but can you blame me when my girlfriend is so hot?" She confesses and Dahyun blushes at the statement.

The two of them are so wrapped up in each other that they don't notice Chaeyoung entering the apartment.

"Oh shit! I'm sorry." Chaeyoung turns around when she walks in on the couple.

"Chaeyoung what the hell! Don't you know how to knock?" Dahyun fixes her hair to make herself look a little more presentable. Mina doesn't seem to mind. She only takes a step back, checking the time on her watch.

"I have to get going for work, see you later love." Mina pecks her lips and waves at Chaeyoung with a wink, on her way to the door.

Dahyun's still leaning against the kitchen counter, her face flushed from embarrassment.

Chaeyoung smirks, bouncing over to her best friend. "No need to be embarrassed, Hyun. Sex is a normal thing." She teases and Dahyun smacks her arm at the words.

"We weren't having sex! We haven't even done it yet." Dahyun whispers the last part and Chaeyoung's eyes widen.

"What! Why not?"

"You know why." Dahyun sighs, turning around to make herself and Chaeyoung a cup of coffee.

Chaeyoung narrows her eyes at her best friend. "You still can't be hung up on that one night stand you had years ago in college." Dahyun told Chaeyoung about the story, but never revealed who it was, claiming that it isn't someone she knows so it's not important.

"I'm not hung up on anything, I'm just not ready yet." Dahyun explains as she grabs so milk out of the fridge, avoiding Chaeyoung's eyes.

"Damn if I were you, I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off, Mina." The words slip from her mouth without thinking and Dahyun gives her a confused look.

Shit.

"I-I mean, Mina's hot that's all. The hottest person you've dated." Chaeyoung attempts to save herself.

Dahyun doesn't respond only sliding the mug over to Chaeyoung and then takes a sip of her own coffee.

She doesn't understand why she's not able to give herself to Mina yet. Mina's perfect in every possible way, but there's always this weird feeling that holds her back.

"You know you can talk to me, Dahyun."

"I know, but can we talk about something else, this topic is making me uncomfortable." Dahyun deflates

"It's a normal thing, sex isn't-"

"Can we drop this, Chaeyoung." Dahyun cuts her off.

"This is clearly bothering you, I just want-"

"It was Sana, okay." Dahyun snaps out of frustration.

Chaeyoung's eyes widen at the confession. Okay, she was not at all prepared for that answer. She's at a loss for words. Dahyun and Sana? She knows that Sana has always been extra close with Dahyun and at some point she had her suspicions, but that all fell away when Momo and Sana started dating.

Dahyun lets out a deep breath, wrapping her hands tightly around her mug as she stares down at the table. "It was one night and it meant nothing."

Chaeyoung carefully studies her expression and she knows for sure that it wasn't nothing. "But it's affected all your relationships, it must mean something."

Dahyun blinks back her tears and she shakes her head. "It wasn't supposed to happen. I was drunk and sad and Sana was there."

"You lost your virginity to her, Dahyun."

"I didn't- I regret it." Dahyun's mind flashes back to that night in her dorm room. It leaves a sour taste in her mouth.

Chaeyoung places a comforting hand over Dahyun's arm. "So you didn't do it because you had feelings for her?" Chaeyoung is trying to understand why sleeping with Sana has left such a big impact on her. Did she like Sana? Was it really a mistake?

"It's complicated, Chaeyoung. We've both agreed never to speak about it again and that's it." Dahyun answers. "And please don't tell her I told you or anyone else." She adds.

With a nod, Chaeyoung moves over to her best friend, engulfing her in a tight hug. "I may not understand the situation entirely, but I think  it's best if you speak to her, for your sake and for the sake of your relationship. You can't let this keep holding you back."

Dahyun hugs her back, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. "I'll try."

Dahyun pulls away when her phone begins ringing and sees Tzuyu's name pop up on her screen

"Tzuyu, hi!" Dahyun beams when she answers.

Chaeyoung's amazed by how quickly Dahyun can change her expression.

"Hey Dahyun." Tzuyu's voice seems a bit off which immediately concerns her.

"Is everything okay?"

"No everything is not okay and you need to fix it." Tzuyu snaps and Dahyun is thrown off by the sudden attitude.

"Me? What happened?"

"Sana is what happened. She's been a pissy mood all day and brought her foul mood to our shoot today. She's taking it out on all the staff." Tzuyu explains.

Dahyun blinks in confusion. How is this her problem? "What does that have to do with me?"

"It has everything to do with you, Dahyun. I don't know what kind of fight you two had, but you need to sort it out. She only ever gets like this when it is has something to do with you so please make up before she fires someone for breathing too loudly. I have to go, but give her a call." Tzuyu ends the line and Dahyun is left stunned

Her and Sana didn't even have a fight? Wait, did Sana consider what happened at her birthday a fight? Dahyun groans at the thought and stares at her phone.

The dials Sana's number and it only takes one ring before the it's answered

"We need to talk"
