Dahyun's in awe when she enters Sana's extravagant rooftop party. It's well decorated, waiters and waitresses on standby to assist anyone and an open bar to get completely wasted at and space to dance.
"Wow." Mina says from besides her, looking around at the amount of people that has shown up. Many of them from wealthy families, celebrities as well.
"Yeah, Sana's birthdays are always big." Dahyun chuckles at Mina's reaction.
"Should we get something to drink, love?" Mina questions and Dahyun smiles, nodding her head.
Not much to Dahyun's surprise, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung are already at the bar. Both girls are dressed in tailored suits, looking gorgeous.
"Hey guys." Dahyun greets, getting their attention. Jeongyeon, pulls her in for a hug and Chaeyoung whistles loudly when she takes a look at Dahyun's dress. Dahyun smacks Chaeyoung's arm in embarrassment.
Mina smiles fondly at the interaction.
"Oh, Mina! You made it as well." Jeongyeon greets and Chaeyoung only smiles at the brunette, averting her attention to the drink in her hand.
"Have you guys seen, Sana? I still need to wish her happy birthday." Dahyun asks.
Jeongyeon points in the opposite direction where Sana is chatting to a few guests with Momo at her side.
Dahyun grabs ahold of Mina's hand and makes her way over to the birthday girl. Sana looks stunning, her pink hair complimenting the what dress that she's wearing perfectly.
Momo wore the opposite colour, a black dress that hugged her frame just right.
"Dahyunnie!" Sana exclaims and Dahyun engulfed into a tight hug.
"Happy birthday, Sana." Dahyun says in a muffled voice.
"Babe, you're going to kill her if you hug her any tighter." Momo laughs and Sana finally let's go.
Sana's smile fades a little when she gets a glimpse of the person standing behind Dahyun.
"Happy birthday." Mina wishes, not minding the way Momo's eyes seem to be burning a hole in her face.
"Thank you."
Mina's eyes left Sana and she looks over at Momo, not faltering in the slightest at her intimidating gaze.
Momo's a bit thrown off at the display.
"Remember what you promised me, Dahyun. A dance if I can recall correctly?" Sana grins and Dahyun groans.
"You don't mind if I steal your girlfriend for a dance?" Sana voice is sickeningly sweet when she asks Mina.
Mina nods. "Of course, have fun my love." Mina smiles at Dahyun who is then dragged by Sana to the dance floor.
"So you're serious about, Dahyun?" Momo signals to one of the waiters to bring them a drink.
"Very." Mina simply replies and thanks the man when he hands her a glass of champagne.
Momo hums, swirling around alchohol in her glass. "I don't believe you."
"And why is that?"
Momo takes a step closer to the brunette, looking down condescendingly at the other girl. "You know that Dahyun is too good for you."
"Are you seriously playing this bullshit 'she's too good for you card?' Look I get it, you're looking out for Dahyun and I respect that. But I'm not someone that's easily intimidated. So say what you want, I'm not going to run." Mina looks up at her, lips twitching up at the slightest.
