🦇 He intentionally keeps what he is hidden from Yams so that he won't be scared of him, or worse, offer himself as a way for Tsukishima to satisfy his hunger when he needs to
🦇 That second one especially since Tsukishima doesn't drink blood at all
🦇 He's disgusted by the fact that vampires drink blood, and insists that even if he is a vampire he doesn't need it
🦇 Tsukishima has taught himself to control his hunger from a very young age, but even the slightest whiff of blood will threaten to send him into a feeding frenzy
🦇 For purposes of clarification, a feeding frenzy is when a vampire succumbs to their base instincts and attacks the nearest person to feed off of their blood. This often happens when a vampire is starved for blood or loses control over their hunger.
🦇 There are societal rules around vampires feeding, of course, and they often consume their needed blood from blood packs given to them or from animals
🦇 Because he refuses to drink blood, Tsukishima himself lacks a significant portion of a vampire's enhanced physical capabilities and other powers
🦇 Among the vampire community, he's become known as the 'non-feeder' because of the fact he doesn't drink blood at all
🦇 Tsukishima is definitely among the more secretive members of the team when it comes to his cryptid identity
🦇 Once Yamaguchi finds out, because no matter what Tsukishima says he can't keep what he is secret forever, he's more than glad to let Tsukki sleep in bat form inside his backpack when he's particularly tired
🦇 Being a vampire, Tsukki is naturally nocturnal and sometimes struggles to stay awake during the day
