he smiled as soon as he saw you, and you sat down across from him.
"hey there Y/N! so glad you could make it." ned said.
"of course! thank you so much for inviting me!" you replied.
"no problem. i couldn't resist the chance to spend some time with you." he said with a wink.
his words made you blush. you noticed he was still wearing the sunglasses, even inside.
"isn't it a little dark in here to be wearing sunglasses?" you said, looking around at the dimly lit cafe.
"yeah, i guess it is a bit dark. but i think they make me look cool, even if i can't really see anything." ned replied.
at first you thought it was strange that he wore sunglasses inside, but now that you think about it, he looks really awesome.
"hey Y/N do you mind reading the menu for me? these sunglasses are making it hard to read." he said.
you chuckled, and read the menu for him. you both ordered your coffees and conversation flowed effortlessly between you.
as you and ned walked through the beautiful city of chicago, ned suggested that the two of you take a stroll through a nearby park.
