“You're looking at the poor cat as if you want to murder it.”

She said in a calm, soothing voice that drew his attention. Blinking once, then twice, he turned his attention towards the young woman laying on the grass with a book blocking her face. His eyes scanned her body then,

A yellow flowery sundress that stopped mid-thigh, slim long legs that stretched all the way on the grassy ground with a pair of white sandals that sat next to her. Long shiny locks of sunshine scattered on either side of her.

As if she sensed his burning gaze, she removed the book from her face allowing a ray of sunlight to draw her features and turn her eyes into a light shade of brown that looked as sweet as honey. A soft smile adorned her beautiful lips, giving her the look of an angel sent from heaven.
