She attends to me as I insist to wait for her brother. I heard from her na he's currently in his third year of med school, on his journey to become an Orthopedic physician.

"He comes home late, Ate. Is it that important na maghihintay ka talaga?" Yellow asks, concern laced to her voice.

"Yes, babe. You'll keep me entertained naman diba?"

Yellow indeed kept me entertained throughout the day. She fed me breakfast, lunch and dinner. We watched movies together while waiting for her brother. At 11 PM, sumuko na s'ya.

"I texted him kaninang tanghali, Ate, na naghihintay ka sa kaniya. He should be home soon," aniya at humikab. "Tutulog lang ako real quick, Ate, di na talaga kaya. You can just lock the door if you want to leave na, Ate, may susi naman si Kuya ko."

"Sure, baby. Sleep well," kako at nginitian s'ya.

I told her to go to her room but she insisted na rito lang s'ya sa couch matutulog para madali ko lang s'yang magigising kung may kailangan ako. My smile grow bigger at her thoughtfulness, I love this girl so much!

I give up.

A panting Levi Dune came storming from the door. His eyes then roam the room until it caught my figure.

"Em." The sides of my lips curl up without a warning upon hearing him call my nickname. The nickname he loved. "I'm so sorry. I read Yellow's message in the car na."

"It's okay," kako at kinuha ang saklay ko. He stride towards me and help me get up (which makes my heart pound like crazy, by the way).

"What brought you here? May importante ka rawng sadya sa akin?" I feel like choking now that he opens up that topic.

I can't. I don't think I can do it now! Time first! Bukas na lang huhu.

"Ah, it's late at night. Siguro bukas na lang."

"Okay, if that's what you want. Ihahatid na kita sa inyo," aniya at inalalayan ako palabas ng bahay nila.

The walk to our house from theirs felt so long kahit magkatabi lang naman. It's good though because it help me decide properly on what course of action to take: to go with the original plan or the change of plan.

As we arrive at my house's front door step, I finally change my mind.

"Uhm, salamat sa paghatid," I say.

"It's not a big thing. I'm your additional cane remember?"

I chuckle. "You wanted to be."

"Huh?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "Huh?" Oops? Shuta! What did I just said?!

Ngumiti s'ya ng matamis. "I remember. Yes, I hoped I could be."

"Fuck my sister. I'm sorry. I got the chance to read it just yesterday night. Kagabi lang ibinigay ni Ate."

Natawa s'ya ng mahina. "I suspected it nang wala kang reaction kahapon when I was subtly hinting that those feelings I pour in those letters are still in effect."

Napalabi ako sa sinabi n'ya. "Really?"

His face turn serious as he heave a sigh. His look down at my free hand and take it before looking me in the eyes again,
