"Elias...ELIAS" I hear my teacher call my name, "U-Uh, s-sorry Mrs. Caroline!" I say, after accidentally zoning out. "Just try not to do it, ok, Mr. Rain?" She says, sometimes I don't get why teachers call they're students by their last names, hm, whatever. "Ok!" I say, I'm sorry I got zoned out! This class is just so boring! Who needs to learn about history! I would rather do the humans course, but my mom wont let me! She says humans are dangerous and unpredictable, they probably are, but-but uh, ugh! I don't know, i'm just so curious! S--t, I zoned out again.
After class~
"Hey, Nate!" I said, running up to my best friend, well, Nate! "Heya Eli" He says slowing down so I can catch up. "Do you think it would be crazy if I went to that human city?" I asked, hoping he doesn't think I'm crazy for asking this. "DUDE! Snap back to reality! Humans could KILL you!" He said, "But, I'm so freaking curious!"
"I'm sorry your curious, but I don't wanna lose you! Please don't go!"
"Ugh, I MIGHT not..."
"Thanks, Eli" He said, "Whatever, I have to get home" I said, wanting to go home so on can think about if I wanna leave or not, "Ok, see ya!"
"See ya..."
At his house~
"Hey, honey!" My mom, Zia, said. "Hi mom" I said, going up into my room, "Going up there already?" My mom asked, a little disappointed. "Yeah, I have something I need to think about" I said, trying not to give full detail. "Ok...just be back up at about 7:30 for dinner!" She said, blowing me a kiss like she always does. "Will do!" I said, just about to get to my room. As I opened my door, thoughts mixed with curiosity and ideas flooded my brain, "Ugh! I need to go! I wont get caught! I'll be extra careful! I guess i'll go tomorrow night!" I said, excitedly to myself. I guess I'll do my homework now...ALMOST DINNER ALREADY!?
