Jodi, the girls and I went to my cousin Jackson Bales' (Aaron and Kylie's son) graduation party tonight.
Several of the family—Lindsey Boud, Aaron and Kylie Bales—I had not seen in over ten years. It was great to see them again, but it's going to take some time to rebuild a relationship with Jacob (Lindsey's son) since I haven't seen him in person since he was 6, and now he's back from his mission...either way, it was good to see everyone again. :)
Insight for the day: I could have stayed at work and not taken time off. I could have missed the party. Who knows though when I'll get to see these family members again?
NEVER, if you have the power to do something about it, pass up an opportunity to see family, especially cousins and other extended family.
