ni-ki was done , he wanted to forget sunoo but something kept pulling him back towards him

the next day came and everyone woke up
sunghoon , jake and ni-ki were on the sofa talking about who knows what
jay and jungwon were in the kitchen because jay was cooking
heeseung and sunoo....sleeping
"ni-ki go wake them up" jay yelled from the kitchen , ni-kis head span so fast that he definitely could've snapped it
"why me...?" he stayed seated
"just do what i say ni-ki"
ni-ki sighed and slowly made his way upstairs , reaching the spare bedroom he knocked and entered . heeseung wasn't there , only sunoo
he sat at the edge of the bed looking at sleeping sunoo , his pink hair falling perfectly over his foxy eyes , his thick lips parted slightly
ni-ki blinked away any thoughts he had at that moment and shook sunoo away
"hyung wake up jay is making food"
"hm" sunoo sat up rubbing his eyes like a small child , his eyes tearing a little from the sleepiness " okay...where's heeseung" ni-ki ignored him and left

breakfast started and everyone was sitting at jays dining table
jay coughed before saying something "i've been thinking and since school has ended for summer why don't we go on a trip , like camping?" jay waited for someone to reply
"yeh sounds fun" jake was the first "right hoon" he looked to the younger with his puppy eyes "yeh"
"sooooo when do you wanna go" jungwon went back to his pancakes
ni-ki had already finished and left the table a while ago , he wasn't really listening to the conversation either so when he was asked about it he just said "i'll do what everyone else wants to"
sunoo had finished too and went to sit beside ni-ki but before he could ni-ki got up and left , leaving sunoo to sit alone
"i'm going home , text me the details about the trip" before anyone could even say okay ni-ki left , he walked home to clear his mind , would this trip even benefit him
his phone pinged in his pocket
"oosun☀️"
hey ni-ki , we're all leaving tomorrow for the trip , jays house is our meeting point , be there by 12pm :)
jay definitely got him to text , he didn't bother replying and shoved his phone back into his pocket

when he eventually got home he had to pack his bag for the trip , they never said how long it would be but ni-ki guessed it would be a few days , after packing he showered and went to sit downstairs with his older sister
"riki what's with your face , you look so miserable" konon giggled a little , teasing her younger brother "but no seriously did something happen" her teasing turned into concern
without even arguing with her ni-ki sat down and explained everything , him and sunoo , heeseung , sooha
it felt good to let it out , to finally tell someone without them freaking out
konon was sympathetic with ni-ki , and tried to give him some advice but he wouldn't listen , she told him to make amends with sunoo but he refused , he didn't want anything to do with him
or so he said
"riki just talk it out with him , stop running away from your feelings" konon sighed , punched the bridge of her nose
"you don't get it he doesn't like me there's no reason to talk to him about it"
"did he say he doesn't like you" konon interrupted
"he told me to forget about it and said that i'm just a child so yes it's pretty clear" ni-ki sulked at the other end of the sofa , his lips pouted and his eyes focusing on the blank tv screen
"ah...you're so stubborn riki" was the last thing she said before going to bed , and not long later ni-ki did too

laying in his bed staring at the ceiling all ni-ki could think about was the trip and what would happen
eventually closing his eyes he fell asleep , thinking about a certain someone
