TW: Implied death(?)
Nobody - Mitski
It was the next day, not like he could really tell without a clock. Why did he decide to put his base on the sun? He had no clue. Maybe to remind himself of who he was originally against? To remind him of himself? He didn’t really know anymore. But no more looking into the past. He needed to focus on the present for now. Not the past. Not the future. Just the present. And the present was gonna be him giving back the Star. That is, after he did one more thing. His original wish was for, in his own words, ‘To be loved.’ And in theory, he could replace said wish. He worked on the Star’s capabilities and how he was gonna get it out of his core. He had both answers! But first, he needed to replace his wish. It was actually surprisingly simple. All he had to do was wish for his original wish to be replaced. And since it was in his core, the Star fully knew that he was being genuine. So it did. His wish was replaced. Now, everyone that thought he was this hero not only didn’t see Sun and Moon as horrible anymore, but knew what Eclipse did to them. It was worth it, being able to see Sun and Moon happy. Now that that was settled, he needed the Star out of his core. And he knew how to. He finally perfected it and was ready to try. There was a chance he would die, but it was worth it. He was gonna make everything worth it. He had his computer power down the Star as much as possible. He was ready for the claw he made just for this moment. And it did what it did best;
It ripped out the Star.
And then, everything went black.
