Third Person P.O.V.

A MAN AND WOMAN WERE being escorted by a creature of sorts. Although they showed no emotions on their faces, they were terrified of whatever it was.

The two weren't known for their bravery, they were simply known as villains. Though they haven't caused any harm towards a lot of souls, they planned on it. Very soon it would be their turn to strike against the people they desired. Even though it was only two others they desired most, they meant no harm.

After their quest was finished, their victims would be theirs separately. They would own them.

They had no intentions of harming them once they got their reward. None at all. All they desired was for them to fall in love with their owners.

The siblings were pulled out of their thoughts once they noticed they had been standing at the throne of a man the whole time. The man sat on his throne, shooting death glares at the two.

"Why are you two here?" He insisted darkly.

The woman spoke up. "My brother and I are here to inform you of good news."

The man grunted and motioned his hands for her to continue.

She stuttered. The woman had just realized that the creature from earlier was directly behind her and her brother, making her feel a bit on edge.

"H-he used the kn-knife." She whispered.

The man's eyes bulged. "You're lying."

"We are not, sir. Haven't you felt the power of the knife grow stronger?" The boy asked, nervously glancing behind him to see the creature.

The man grumbled. "I did, in fact. I thought it was one of you two." He pointed at the siblings.

"Thelion and I planned something so he would end up with the knife. It was successful, and in her time of dying, he used th-"

"SHE WAS DYING?!" The man screamed and the two below him flinched heavily.

"B-but Loki used the knife! She was revived instantly!" The woman yelled in hopes of the man calming down.

"You, Sigyn and Thelion, were assigned to watch her! Both of you! You're supposed to make sure she doesn't look into the eyes of death, and as it turns out, she almost dies more than once! She was stuck in the Balance and shot by the man who has our plans! Ours!" The man yelled at Sigyn and Thelion, and they were shaking in their shoes.

"B-but Thanos, she didn't!"

"But she almost!" He exclaimed loudly. "And 'almost' is almost too close for me. Nyota would do a better job than either of you, and she hasn't done anything for over 3 years!"

"She's driven by a different motive though." Sigyn tried to argue.

It wasn't true.

"And tell me, what is her motive?" Thanos argued back.

Sigyn shook her head and sighed loudly. "I-I don't know! All I know is that it's different from ours!"

Thanos knew Nyota had the same motive as one of the siblings did. Nyota would receive her gift once her job was done, only one of the siblings would receive the same gift.

Only they didn't know that.

Thanos had plans for what would happen once Tessa Stark was delivered to him. He was only using his three workers: Sigyn, Thelion, and Nyota. After Tessa was delivered to him, he would kill everyone.

"You were saying Loki was stupid enough to use the knife to revive her?" Thanos asked, rubbing his forehead as he closed his eyes.

Thanos barely communicated with his 'workers' while they were in a mission, and adding the fact that the siblings were always annoying didn't help.

In fact, Thanos hadn't heard from Nyota in over 3 years. Ever since she had 'died' he hadn't even seen her. He wasn't complaining, she could get annoying just like the siblings, but there was only one of her.

Thelion nodded.

Thanos shook his head. "He used the knife in a time of panic. Loki did it absentmindedly. Though we couldn't have Azeli dying, now could we? So we thank him."

"T-thank him?" Sigyn looked surprised.

"He kept your reward-" he nodded to Thelion, "-alive along with my power. Also, with no Azeli, there'd be no mission. If there's no mission, there's no reward." Thanos growled the last two words.

"Well it's not going to be me." Sigyn huffed.

Silence followed.

"What do we do now, M-Master?" Thelion asked, stuttering as the Other slowly circled around him.

"They are travelling to Asgard as we speak?" Thanos asked.

"Well, they're planning on it. Tessa," she spit out, "-is having second thoughts."

"Is that our time to strike?"

"NO!" Thanos roared. "Why do you have to greedy and impatient?! This will take time and waiting, so why don't you just smash that through your skull?!"

Thelion flinched.

"When is our time to strike?"

Thanos exclaimed loudly and pointed towards the door.

"Get. Out. Now!" He yelled.

The Other quickly ushered them to the steps, away from Thanos. As he sat down in his seat, he couldn't help but wonder if they were right.

When would it finally be his turn?

* * * * *

Soooooo, I couldn't help but write this, because Thanos was going to be a part of this story, and then Mother Nature and Layla came along and everything went wild so I'm trying to fix it up.

But heyyy you found out Layla was Nyota! If you guessed correctly, congratulations!! I really didn't wanna add a whole new character because I figured I already had a crap load so I just added some connections.

Thanos and the Other were in for a few chapters and then left and I always remembered that I needed to add them SOMEWHERE so here they are in the epilogue. Along with Thelion and Sigyn.

And the whole knife thing is actually really important, so keep that in mind.

But I guess this is really goodbye for this book. :D BTW, THANKS FOR 71K!!
