"Sean. Haha stop!!"

He ignored me and started laughing himself.

"Stop it please."

He let go and laid down next to me. Both of us still laughing.

After we calmed down, Sean drove us to the store to get what we needed so he could make dinner.

On the way home, he told me about how his work day was.

Sean works as a waiter at a restaurant and uncle Rick works as a handyman manager. Sean said getting a job would be fun and sometimes it's not fun. I always told him I'd have to think about it.

My train of thought broke when we saw an unfamiliar car in front of our house.

"Do you know whose car that is?" I asked

"No I don't." He said.

"I think dad might have a friend over." He said

"Finally." I said

"Rose!"

"What?"

"Don't start with that again."

"Come on uncle Rick needs someone to love. He hasn't been with someone since him and aunt Julie separated."

"I know rose. Can we please not talk about it?" He asked politely.

Sean never liked talking about his parents being divorced since my dad died.

"Okay. Sorry" I said

"No. Rose. Don't apologize." He said.

"Okay." I said.

He park his car in front of the house. He opened the trunk and got the groceries out.

"I love you, okay?" He said

"I know. I love you too."

He walked close to me and kissed forehead.

I tried to take some of the food out of his hand but he resisted.

"I got it." He said.

I laughed as we both walked inside.

"How can you carry all that by yourself?" I asked him.

"That's because I'm stronger than you." He said while flexing his muscles.

"I still don't understand how you don't have a girlfriend." I said.

"We'll see. I might get a relationship before you."

"Who knows." I said while smiling.

He both walked to the kitchen and I helped him out every thing away.

I then went upstairs to ask Rick if he could gel me with some history homework. I saw his bedroom door was cracked opened so I walked in

"Hey Rick I-"

I stopped and stood in shock

It was my mom

"Hi rose."

For a second I forgot how to breathe.

"Rose. Can you come sit?" Rick asked.
