Silenced Complaint of an Unknown

Isn't it fascinating?
The depth you are in right now is so drowning.
Deep thoughts during midnight kept you thinking,
"Are you willing to let it go or just keep on going?"

Gloominess you've been hiding,
And the fake smiles you kept on showing.
Trying to dismiss something,
A silent breakdown you are avoiding.

Difficult it is, she knew from the beginning.
Now, she can't seem to reach an understanding.
A war inside of her is raging,
Yet, silence is winning over her again.

"Who am I kidding?"
A motivation that turns into gaslighting.
Own feelings you kept on denying,
The opposite is the mirror reflecting.

Words in my prayers I kept on uttering,
"Give me strength to endure such a thing".
For I am willing to be saved in this sinking,
Another chance is all that I'm asking.
