"That sounds cool!" I smiled.
"Yeah, I wish," Brianna replied while elongating the word wish.
I suddenly remembered why I came up to the register! I needed to ask her about the shoes.
"Oh yeah, um, could I buy those shoes behind you?" I asked Brianna hoping that she would let me buy them.
"Of course! We just had these returned not too long ago," Brianna smiled.
Brianna logged onto the register and started ringing me up. I knew I wasn't worried about the cost because I have a very successful career.
"Your total comes to $765.50!" Brianna exclaimed. I nodded and inserted my debit card.
When the amount was approved, I took my card out to put away and put my wallet back inside of my blue Dior crossbody bag. Of course, I don't bring my crossbody out during school, so I leave it in my backpack. Brianna bagged up the box with the receipt, and then handed me the shopping bag.
"Thank you for stopping by!" Brianna smiled at me with her customer service smile.
"You're welcome!" I smiled back at her and walked back to my group.
I texted them that we could move onto the next store. They were waiting for me by the doors.
"Took you long enough," Skyler smirked.
"Sorry about that," I frowned at her.
"It's ok, let's keep going!" Meghan smiled while the rest of us nodded in agreement.
The four of us walked out of Adidas together, but stopped because we didn't know where to go next.
"Can we go to Tiffany? Apparently my favorite necklace shattered yesterday," I sheepishly smiled at the three girls.
"Yeah! Of course!" America smiled while the other two nodded.
I knew that Tiffany was around the corner from where we were at, so we got there pretty fast. When we were almost at the door, Skyler stopped us for a second. The rest of us were quite surprised when she stopped and turned quickly in the direction I was standing in.
"Wait, you said your favorite necklace shattered, right?" Skyler asked me curiously.
"Yeah," I sighed remembering what happened to it.
"Did someone do it on purpose, or by accident? What happened?" She kept asking me with more questions.
I couldn't tell them that some stupid douchebag did it! I don't want him to go after me again, I nervously thought to myself, wrapping those thoughts around my fingers.
"Tyler?" Skyler looked at me with a concerned look, while I noticed the other two also having the same look.
"It was me. I accidentally tripped while trying to put it on in my room," I quickly replied while swallowing some dry air.
At first there was silence, but then it went away quickly when Skyler started laughing!
"Of course you did! I love you bro, but you're such a klutz! No offense!" she laughed at my stupidity. I rolled my eyes, but I also gave out a chuckle.
"Okay, let's get you a new necklace!" Skyler smiled with excitement, now calm after her outburst.
The rest of us cheered in excitement and quickly walked into the Tiffany store. The inside of that store was so breathtaking with all of the jewelry pieces to the items from the home collection, and even the decorations of the store were very pretty!
