"And she's not my girlfriend." He spoke as he looked back to see me and turned again to leave. 

We all were sitting in a circle, as a bonfire was in between, shining brightly and warmly as the dark pitch clouds took over and it was already late in the evening. "Why don't we play 7 minutes of heaven?" Jeongjin suggested as everyone around me hooted in excitement. But I was honestly confused. "What's 7 minutes of heaven?" I asked, as Chaehyun chuckled a little. "In this you have to spend 7 minutes alone with a person, it's where it leads to scandalous things." 

She answered smirking while looking at Taehyun. Now I wasn't confused over the game but at Chaehyun as how quickly she switched boys. She was holding Taehyun's arm with both of her hands, like they were some couple. Geez they both were so unpredictable.

I nodded and the bottle was spun by Jake. Slowly and dramatically it landed on Chaehyun as she quickly stood up happily and asked Taehyun to join her. Not only me but all four of us were flabbergasted with the sudden change in her choice. I wanted to see Jake being disappointed, instead he was cool about it. The bottle spun again as only we four were left behind, and this time it landed on me. 

I was happy and nervous at the same time, happy because now both the lovebirds will get to be together since we all know no one is coming back after just 7 minutes, and nervous because I had no other choice but to ask Jake out. I gulped seeing the stupid  bottle laughing at my situation. Ningning looked worried and spoke up, "Y/N if you're not comfortable, then I can accompany you." She tried to comfort me but I didn't want to ruin everyone's moment because of me. 

"No it's okay, I think you guys should spend some time together, it's for the best." I said smiling as I really wanted them to end up together and maybe this game would be their final push? No way I could make them miss this. "If you want we can spin the bottle again." Jeongjin said, even though he knew how much tension Jake and I had between us.

I stood up, trying to pretend as if it really won't affect me. Jake was clearly mad but for what now? Without saying a word he got up and went straight to the woods , not even caring to at least wait for me. Running a little to match up with his pace I approached him and stood in front of me, "Why do you look mad this time?" He looked a bit annoyed hearing my question, "Am I that bad that they are hesitating to leave you alone with me?" He asked, getting offended with how everyone reacted earlier. 

"Maybe because you're always so annoyed and angry at me for no freaking reason." I said, my voice a little loud. "I have my fair reasons to be like this, so don't ask questions you don't want to hear answers about." He said, his jaw tightened. "I want to hear why you're always so rude to me!" I said almost yelling. "Not now Y/N. '' He said and went to walk further when I went behind him hurriedly and fell on the spot very hard, as a loud scream in pain escaped my mouth. 

Jake quickly turned around and sat on one knee looking worried, panicking. "Why are you always this careless?" He said as his eyes went over my scraped knee and how red it was because of the bleeding. He sighed and stood now picking me up in his arms as I groaned in pain and screamed at his sudden action. "Don't say anything, stay quiet." He said in a serious tone as he held me in his arms and we went to the camp again, only to find it empty. 

Ningning and Jeongjin must have left for the woods too. He then made me sit inside one of our tents and went to find some ointments and water from our belongings. I was left alone and I looked over all the cuts and bruises and slowly I started crying, it was bleeding and it had cuts everywhere. 

Not a minute later Jake barged in with some stuff, as his eyes saw me crying, his panicked state softened and he cupped my cheeks which made me cry even harder, "Y/N shhh don't cry, it's gonna be okay hmm?" And for the first time he smiled looking at me. And I swear it wasn't a forced one, his gaze was warm and we looked at each other longer than we should have. I cleared my throat and he quickly pulled his hands and started treating my cuts and first cleaned the blood area with water. I was just staring at him, how carefully he was treating me.

"Now tell me what reasons you have to not be nice to me?" I asked, still not giving up my stubbornness, "No." He replied and was focused with the ointment. "Jake, tell me!" I said, poking his shoulder.

"Y/N don't move!" He said loudly as he quickly realized and looked at me, "Stay still until I treat you, please?" 

"Then you'll delay it again, I know you're just avoiding this, Jake tel-" as I was patting him on the shoulder continuously, he quickly held me by the wrist and said, 

"Because I love you!" His voice was loud and clear while my jaw hung open. Him liking me would have been convincing but he loves me? Is this a fever dream or what?

He sighed and tried to be calm, "I know we fought the first day we met but since then you were on my mind, no matter how many times I flirted with other girls, I couldn't help but to think about you. My mind is obsessed with you okay? That's why I can't bring myself to date any girl, because I want to be your boyfriend only. I tried to push you by being rude and cold but your hurted face broke my heart little by little and I can't do that anymore. I know I was cranky since the morning because Chaehyun was nagging me from the start and here Taehyun was flirting with you so openly in front of me!" He said staring straight at my soul and I was speechless. I didn't know his feelings for me would be this hard.

"I'll respect your decision even if you'll reject me, I was rude to you for no solid reasons, but I'll always be available for you. You can use me as you want, and I won't love anyone who isn't you." He said as he took my palm and started applying the ointment there too. I was stunned to even answer him. My throat was dry, and my heart was beating fast. 

"I had a crush on you since we fought the first time." I said my eyes down, not daring to meet him. "What? Even after we fought?" He sounded even more surprised than me but the audacity he had. 

"I just had a crush on you, but you are in love with me!" I said getting defensive at how he dared to question me like that. His surprised face broke into a smile and he started laughing, "You're so cute!" He said as he squished my cheek and I loved how soft and cozy his touch was.

He sat on his knees, his face close to mine as he stared at my eyes, 

"So? Can I have the permission to be your boyfriend?" He questioned and I wanted to scream, cry and roll right on the floor but I just smiled wide instead and nodded. He smiled too upon seeing my happy face and leaned in for a kiss until we heard a loud squeal and found the rest of our friends standing at the tent's entrance and Ningning hugging Jeongjin while squealing all this while, and Taehyun's hand was wrapped around Chaehyun's waist. 

And that's how this trip's night ended while bringing us all one step closer to our love interest.

"Wait- Jake you're not gay?" I whispered to him as he was currently hugging me, while we were out stargazing. "You left me no choice and pulled me STRAIGHT to you." He said kissing my forehead and cheeks making me giggle.
