(this is my first time writing a story so it might be bad btw this is not the first time someone has done this also I do not own splatoon)
Mal was a normal high school girl with jet black hair brown eyes and anxiety like everyone now a days. Mal was drawing when her color pencil snapped and then she thought "yeah I might need new color pencils." so she got up put on a black jacket some sweat pants her two Crocs and pumped that good hazbin hotel music in her headphones and it was time to go outside.
While walking to the local Walmart she crossed the street and BAM! a truck hit her causing her two die and everything went black.
mal woke up in a hospital bed sweating looking around. no one was in the room so she walked over to a mirror and saw that she was an octoling with the normal octoling enemy hair pink eyes and a hospital robe. Mal panic realizing she was in splatoon a game she played when she wasn't studying or at work. She freaked out thinking "how the fuck did I end up in splatoon".
A nurse came in and saw Mal. the nurse ran to go get the doctor but Mal wanted answers.
Mal:wait hold on come back!
Mal looked scared as the doctor came in with another octoling who was wearing octoling armor.
Doctor:hmp u seem to be just fine even tho u were on the side of the road passed.
Mal:wait I was on the side of the road
Doctor:yup you were passed out. How don't u remember?
Mal shrugged she knew why she didn't remember but she didn't want to look crazy
Doctor:hmp u probably have amnesia. welp nothing I can do about that she yours know.
The doctor walked out leaving Mal with the octoling
Octoling: alright so to be straight up your going to war
Mal:wait what why
Octoling:well Octavio said so
Mal:who's octav- oh nvm
Octoling:yeah anyways can u please follow me
Mal followed the octoling realizeing "I'm going to have to fight agent 3. I'm so fucked I'm so fucked!" Mal kept following the octoling looking nervous as fuck and she realized they were under the city. After a while they got the training sight were she kept following the octoling to the engineering room and there was another octoling
Octoling:hey uh can u show this newbie their room and u can train them tomorrow
???:oh sure
The octoling left and that left Mal and the other octoling alone
???:oh you probably don't know my name. Well I'm marina the engineer
Mal:oh I'm Mal
Marina:nice to meet u. So can u follow me to your room
Mal:uh alright
Mal followed marina realizing she's now with the future idol of splatoon. Mal followed marina until she reached her room.
Marina:alright here's your room Mal.
The room was pretty basic it was just a bed a wardrobe and a desk with a hand book on top
Marina:okay so all of your armor and pj's should be in your wardrobe so I'll see u tomorrow Mal
Marina hurried back to the engineering room. Mal closed her door flopped on her bed realizeing this is her life now. Mal put on her PJs and fell too sleep rather quickly.
