L'amour est un poison, et chaque baiser est son antidote

Translation: "Love is a poison, and each kiss is its antidote."

As they reached the entrance to the women's changing room, the blonde halted, stepping back a bit from the dark-haired woman. The taller motioned gently, "Go on in. I'll be right here when you're done." With a quick nod, the woman entered the room.

Leaning against the wall, the blonde released a weighted sigh, burdened by the ceaseless whirl of thoughts encircling his mind. It had been over a week since he laid eyes on his love, and the pangs of longing gripped him fiercely. Lost in the demands of the group project, he barely found a moment to glance at his phone or catch sight of the younger one. Most breaks were consumed by discussions with Harin, leaving him feeling bored. Yet, his boredom dissipated instantly whenever the topic of the certain blue-haired was brought up, sparking an excitement that pulled him into endless conversation.

Now, as he reflects on it, his boyfriend has always been so understanding. However, a creeping sense of guilt begins to gnaw at the taller. Not only has he neglected to visit his friends or his boyfriend, but he also hasn't seen his own parents. Growing up together as a tightly-knit family, both Felix and he have treated each other's parents as their own. Basically, when it comes to their parents, they see each other's children as their own and share a familial bond with three of them: Lino, Felix, and Hyunjin. Now, with Han joining the family as their son-in-law, they embrace him with the same love and care as their own child.

Massaging his temples, the blonde spun around at the sound of the door clicking shut, finding Aera standing before him clad in her PE attire. Stepping away from the wall, he hastily murmured, "Aera, I need to see Lix. Don't wait for me; I won't be returning. Are you alright going to class alone?"

With widened eyes and a nervous expression, the black-haired girl strode forward and enveloped the taller figure in a tight embrace, pressing her face against his shoulder. Taken aback, the blonde attempted to pull away, only to find her grip firm around him. His hands trembled as he tried to push her aside, but she clung on tighter, pleading, "Jin, don't go! Please, stay with me. I can't bear to return to class. I feel utterly humiliated. Harin has succeeded in embarrassing me in front of everyone."

In tears, she moved closer, seeking comfort from the blonde. With a gentle grip on her shoulder, he pulled her away, reassuringly saying, "Aera, Harin isn't like that."

Shaking her head vigorously, she looked at Hyunjin with teary eyes. The black-haired girl continued, her voice shaking, "No, she must hate me because I'm different from all of you. I come from a lower-class family, with a father squandering his earnings, and a mother who-" She cut herself off, her gaze dropping to her feet.

Letting out a soft sigh, Hyunjin said, "I'm not taking Harin's side. In this school, all students are frequently reminded by their families never to judge others based on their wealth and to avoid becoming overly confident simply because of financial means. And the students here never look down on people because of their backgrounds. We've been taught not to judge someone based on their wealth. Everyone here has always participated in volunteer work, often assisting other lower-class families with financial support. It's never been about money; we weren't brought up that way. Regarding Harin's behavior, I'll have a chat with her. She's never acted like this before, so there must be something behind her actions. I'll try to get to the bottom of it."
