I stared at Dj phone as everybody got quiet, My mama was in the hospital bed holding Dj as she smiled at the camera
My heart literally started beating fast as Dj put 2 and 2 together and moved his phone
"How old you is?" My dad asked
"24" He said and i looked over at him , I was 22 .
"You still close with yo last foster family?" My dad asked as we set down and my uncles walked off
"No" He answered
Aunisti frowned a little
"Would you like to meet your birth giver ? ill try to talk to her and see some" My dad asked and Dj got quiet
"Ion wanna meet with her i just wanna know what happened tho" He said shrugging
"Aight" My dad said as i sigh
"So you really my brother?" I said laughing as he nudged me
"We blood now we even more locked in" He said making me smile
"Im finna go fix us a plate come on Dj" I said realizing everybody had plates
We both walked off
"Damn thats crazy... Our mama really fucked up" He said breaking the silence and i chuckled agreeing
"Earlier you told me you was in adopted and stuff until yo dad got you" I said and he looked to the side
"Yeah but my dad never got me for real he only got me because he wanted me to work for him , i was still on the streets" He said lowly
"Im thankful for that cause if he didn't get me i was gone be in and out foster homes a lot more" He said and i sigh.
"Well you can grow a bond with my dad" I said as we made our way into the house
"Nah Sai its cool" He spoke as we walked passed my cousins
My grandma stood in the kitchen fixing everyonr plates
