Day 1.
"Walter here!
I've traveled from the city of London all the way to the oldest woods of England located near the old village called "Inglecroft", the locals aren't too keen towards the outsiders, they wouldn't speak with me, when asked questions, they refused to answer (an old man threatened me with a 17th century sword?!).
I've stayed at the "hotel" located in an old pub, pretty sure it's as old as this hellhole, the closest grocery store is 30 miles away from the village in Manchester, anywho, I've met the local forester, an old strange man who told me to call him "Root", told me plenty of times how I shouldn't enter the woods after the sunset saying it's because of the "wild life".
I've prepared my backpack, food, extra clothes and other essentials, I'll be getting ready to explore the woods and set up a camp, Grace should be joining me in between three or four days, wish myself luck!"
Day 2.
"Walter here again!
First day in the woods, the entry gate said "enter at your own risk" (what an alluring welcome), I've entered the woods at 8am, the nature here is truly breathtaking! It seems some of the trees had been growing here for decades if not longer, I haven't spotted any wild life yet other than a few birds, which is strange since the forester Root kept warning me yesterday about the wild life here....
The woods have this strange kind of feeling to it, as if entering it made me feel like I've entered another realm, everything seems a lot lighter, the air seems more..... airy?
Anywho, at 4pm I've found this big old cave while exploring the woods for what felt like hours, I've set up a tent near it so I can explore it tomorrow, it's already getting dark, but I don't have to worry about bears, as far as I know there's no bears in England! (I hope...).
I'm sitting by the fire right now, it's getting dark, I have to admit, the atmosphere in the woods seemed to drastically change with the sunset, the air got a lot heavier and thicker, for some reason I feel this weird sense of dread, maybe because it's dark and I'm in the middle of some woods with a rather.... interesting story to say at least, or maybe it's something supernatural?! (I hope so!).
I've been texting Grace, she said I'm "fucked up in the head" to go off to the woods I know nothing about on my own, oh well! What can I say, I'm a bit of a "living on the edge" kind of guy, LOL.
Anyway, time to go to sleep, journal, log off!"
Day 2 AGAIN?!
"Walter here again!
It's currently 2am, I woke up due to some rather strange noises coming from the cave I've set up my camp by, it was actually really.... Freaky.
It sounded like screaming, couldn't tell since it pretty much woke me up and didn't lasted for a long time. It's dark outside, I have a set of flashlights of course! I'm not entirely sure if I should check this out, it feels like these predictable horror movie scenes where the main character hears weird noises coming from a dark room and goes directly into the danger to get stabbed a few seconds later, am I this type of stupid? Of course not! Am I this type of curious? Perhaps....
This Walter over here is going to check this out!
Even tho I think I might need to take an extra pair of boxers for that "adventure"....."
