Serenity's Edge

In the tranquil depths of the serene lake,
A sanctuary where my heart would ache.
Amidst the laughter, the joyous play,
Lurked shadows of thoughts I couldn't sway.

Beneath the canvas of sunset's embrace,
I'd grapple with fears I couldn't erase.
Yet in the stillness, the gentle breeze,
I found solace among the whispering trees.

Upon the dock, where waters softly lap,
A refuge from life's relentless trap.
Beside the boats, in quiet repose,
I confront the chaos, the inner throes.

The boat, a refuge from chaos's loud roar,
A haven where anxious thoughts implore.
To cast away upon the tranquil tide,
And seek the peace I'd long denied.

With each gentle sway, each creaking board,
I release the burdens I've long stored.
In the embrace of the soothing lake,
My anxious thoughts find solace, forsake.

As sunset hues paint the water's face,
Calmness washes over, a warm embrace.
Reflecting sunrise and sunset's glow,
The water whispers secrets only it knows.

Beneath the surface, a world unseen,
Aquatic life dances in serene waters.
Freedom abounds in each graceful glide,
As fish and plants in harmony reside.

In the starlit sky, where dreams take flight,
I'd navigate the maze of my inner night.
Seeking solace in the twinkling array,
Each constellation is a guide on my way.

Swimming in waters of mirrored glass,
Drowning out echoes of troubles amassed.
Here, in this haven, I'd find my release,
A respite from turmoil, a moment of peace.

Though sadness lingered in the quiet air,
Hope blossomed anew, banishing despair.
For in this refuge, amidst nature's embrace,
I found the strength to reclaim my grace.

So let me stand upon this sturdy dock,
And cast off the weight of every block.
For in this haven, amidst nature's call,
I find the courage to face it all.
