sorry i keep making these, i just want to keep everyone updated.
in the end i've decided to completely rewrite the fic from the beginning. i initially wanted to continue it while updating older chapters, since that seemed to be what everyone wanted, but as i started my rewrite of the first chapter, it began looking very different from the original.
i realized updating the older chapters while keeping newer ones intact would make the story seem disjointed and confusing. as such i've decided to completely rewrite the story. i'll be posting the first chapter of the rewrite later today on both here and ao3, so keep an eye out for it. i'm super proud of how it turned out and i hope you all will enjoy it as well!!
when this author's note goes up i will delete the older and outdated author's notes for the sake of organization. i will NOT be deleting the old version of the story because i know that people still enjoy reading it, i still get comments on it all the time and it warms my heart to see. so i'll leave you all with this, and i hope you'll be there for the rewrite when it comes out today!!
