This chapter is some fillers from the both the world. Story starts from next chapter. Stay tuned. Don't forget to vote us and also comment your opinion. Because we are new to writing and the writer is more of marvel fan than dc. It is like a try and getting the character with their typical mannerism is not easy when you don't even know a single thing. And mainly english is not our main language.

In the city of Gotham, the dark knight sat on top of his building and looked out for any villains out there. He wondered when his life would change. When he will live as full time Bruce Wayne and the only answer that came to his mind was 'never'. He is never going to have a peaceful life as they show in TV shows and ads. It is always a dream for him. A dream too close to reach yet far away from his heart. His heart began to feel heavy. Batman doesn't dwell on things, Bruce tried to boost up but deep down he knew it was in vain. He sighed and looked out for any sign of villains. This is the speciality about Gotham. Here the bad people are like cockroaches. They never decrease over anything and would come continuously after killing hundreds and thousands. He sighed. This is normal to him now, almost a part of him. These roads took his parents away, his childhood away, his love life which is non-existent away and his dreams. But he still lives here, saves the people because he doesn't want any other children to end up like him, like an orphan. At least he had Alfred, but those poor children. His gut twisted at the sight conjured up by his brain. He tried to shake away those thoughts and in that attempt his thoughts fell over a particular man. A man who is like a ray of sunshine in his life, but hell no. He will never admit that to anyone, not even to his own conscience. The man's smile could light up the room. Both of them knew each other's identity due to an accident where superman got injured and when the knight rushed him to the bat cave Alfred told everything just because Clark Kent was nice to him unlike him. He will never be equal to him. He was a ray of sunshine and he was darkness. They are opposite poles. Bruce chuckled when he remembered how in physics people said that opposite poles attract. Maybe he can prove them wrong with his own hypothesis. Bruce wanted to earn another doctorate suddenly.

"Agent A calling." His earpiece said and he acknowledged the call. Even if he declined, there is going to be no other outcome. Bruce knows Alfred. Alfred knows Bruce more than Bruce knows Bruce.

"Batman needs to come to the batcave. I repeat Batman is needed in the batcave since he is missing out on his three days of sleep." Bruce yawned on hearing sleep. Maybe he does need sleep. Caffeine does not run the system well after all.

"I am coming." Bruce decided to sleep. After all, good sleep will make things good.

Clark took his glasses from the bedstand and moved at an inhuman speed in his tiny apartment. He placed food for Krypto and made sure his superhero costume was in his suitcase before getting out of the apartment. Now he has to walk or run according to the civilian speed. He didn't mind walking. Metropolis always had this brightness over it. Sun. His source of energy. No matter how many people hated the sun, Clark was always on the other side. For him the sun symbolises something new with hope shining like the sun rays. He always loved the sun and made sure he was out in his getup for the sunrise and sunset. It was like one of his hobbies. He felt peace on seeing the shades of orange, red, pink and even some yellow scattered here and there. But recently Clark suspected that his heart had taken a liking to the night. He knows why. The man of steel and the dark knight. It is rare when they two even meet in the same sentence. But oddly they knew each other's original identity and decided to keep it a secret. It still surprises Bruce but it surprises Clark more. The dark knight decided not to kill him then and there with his weapons which is a strange thing to start. What was more strange was Bruce operated on him along with Mr. Pennyworth to take out the Kryptonite bullets out of his body and then he moved him in a wheelchair to the tallest place of his building and made sure he is getting enough sun. He could have let him die but he didn't. This intrigued Clark a lot. Like a lot. Because they both never had a peaceful past. Few snickering by that man, few bold words by him, few comments on aliens by that man and few comments of being a rich billionaire and asshole by him. It was just ice between them. But what has changed?

"Hey Kent, come out of your little mind and see these." Clark felt a groan slip his mouth and he tried his best to hold it. There was newspaper clipping about Bruce Wayne over the years. He looked handsome indeed. But he felt like he didn't want to see him, after all he is one that is renting his mind for two whole weeks after the particular incident. But Lois had other plans, she took out her journal and Clark knew this was going to be serious.

"Clark, we are going to interview The Bruce Wayne. Can you believe it? Two young reporters of Daily planet are going to interview the business mogul. I bet he didn't even know our name but he invited us over for an evening and then dinner followed by it. And it is tomorrow." That was the breaking point for the man, he groaned and fell on the desk, but over the picture of another man obviously. He doesn't know what he feels about Bruce not yet. Sometimes when they are fighting, all he has to do is look into his eyes through the mask. Boom, he would forget that they were even fighting in the first place. But then sometimes it would be like he hated Bruce talking to Diana though they both had nothing to do. At first Clark thought he had a liking towards Diana but then the two weeks before the incident proved him wrong in a fraction of a second. He still remembers Bruce's words in his subconscious state.

"Are you fucking serious? You are not going to die so soon without doing things to me." What things? Fuck. Clark had no idea but he liked the sound of it. And he was too chickened out to ask the man himself. Not his mistake, your voice dies down the moment you come in contact with his eyes and he has this magical thing, where he makes you forget the whole world around you. Clark sighed. He can't reject this interview. This will give him a few bucks and if the man was kind enough to give one full thing it will earn him a promotion. He sighed and mumbled an okay to the other woman who was over the moon to interview the business man. Clark fought the urge to groan and just quit everything. But he shook his head. This is an opportunity. An opportunity to know the man Bruce Wayne. Clark knows him as Batman but not as Bruce Wayne. Clark chuckled at his own foolishness. How did he miss that every equipment in the Justice League tower is contributed by Wayne enterprises.
