Some buddy to love

Start from the beginning

Lynn Sr.: "Alright."

[They realize they forgot one more kid...]

Parents: "Lincoln!"

[Lincoln comes out of his room]

Lincoln: [to the viewers] "Morning in the Loud House is--"

Rita: [stops him] "No, we don't have time for that."

Lynn Sr.: "Let's go, let's go, let's move!"

[The kitchen; the parents have bowls and loaves of bread ready]

Lynn Sr.: "I've got lunch; you've got breakfast."

Rita: "Roger that."

[Rita pours milk and cereal into the bowls, while Lynn Sr. smears peanut butter on his right hand and jelly on his left and lathers the loaves of bread with them.]

Lynn Sr.: "We got this!"

Rita: "I believe in us!"

[Lynn Sr. finishes the PB&J and goes to get smaller bowls as Rita goes to get zip bags for the sandwiches. He trips over her]

Rita: "You OK?"

Lynn Sr.: "I'm OK."

[He opens the fridge and accidentally hits Rita on the head]

Lynn Sr.: "Are you OK?"

Rita: "I'm OK."

Lynn Sr.: [grabs her arms to help her up] "Here. Sorry about my peanut butter and jelly hands." [Rita begins slipping from his hands] "No, no, no, no, no, no, no!"

[Rita collapses]

[The living room; the parents are handing the cereal and breakfast to the kids]

Lynn Sr.: [to Lola] "Bag."

Rita: [to Lola] "Bowl."

Lynn Sr.: [to Lana] "Bag."

Rita: [to Lana] "Bowl."

Lynn Sr.: [to Lisa] "Bag."

Rita: [to Lisa] "Bowl."

Lynn Sr.: "Everybody got a bag, everybody got a bowl?"

Rita: "Twenty seconds to spare!"

Lynn Sr.: "I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times. Never bet against the Louds."

[He opens the door and Clyde is outside]

Clyde: "Happy Saturday!"

Lynn Sr.: [shocked] "Satur-what?!"

Rita: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Lisa: "That was my observation."

[The kids all groan and head their separate ways.]

[Later, Lynn Sr. and Rita sit together on the couch, utterly defeated, bruised, and tired.]

Lynn Sr.: "You ever wonder how we got here? Bruised, beaten down, pajamas covered in peanut butter and jelly..." [samples one]

Rita: "I don't know." [removes cereal from Lynn Sr.'s hair] "I suppose it was when you woke me out of a dead sleep and told me it was a school day." [throws the cereal at his face]

Lynn Sr.: "I'm thinking more big picture. I mean, think about it. When was the last time we had any time to ourselves?"

Rita: "Well, for me, it was six years ago. Kids snapped the handle off the bathroom door and I was trapped in there for 45 glorious minutes."
