My Really Loud House Story

Some buddy to love

[The parents' room. Lynn Sr. wakes up yawning and tries to go back to sleep, but then notices it's 6:49 AM]

Lynn Sr.: [shrieks] "RITA!!!" [frantically gets out of bed] "The alarm didn't go off!" [trips]

[Rita gets out of bed and trips.]

Rita: "I'm up!"

Lynn Sr.: "We've got eleven minutes to get ten kids off to school."

Rita: "See you on the other side!" [clambers over the bed]

[The parents go upstairs to get the kids ready to school]

Lynn Sr.: [clanging his cowbell] "Let's go, Louds!"

Rita: "Rise and shine!"

Lisa: "I'm not getting a Nobel Prize today, am I?"

Lana: [leaves her room in her PJs] "Gah, I'm tired..."

Lynn Sr.: [rushes down the stairs and carries her back to her room] "Nuh-uh. Clothes first."

Lola: "Please, five more minutes..." [heads down the stairs]

Rita: "No, no, no, no, no!" [rushes down the stairs and pushes her back to her room]

Lisa: "Could someone tell me where my glasses are? I can't see."

[She walks out of her room and runs into the wall. Rita puts her glasses on her]

Rita: "OK."

Lisa: "Hello, Mother. If I may make an observation--"

Rita: "Save the observations for science class. We're late for school!" [leaves and heads into Luna, Lena and Luan's room] "OK, Luna!"

[Lynn walks out of her room with a bag of soccer balls and spills many of them, picking them back up.]

Luna: "Mom, Mom, let me just finish this."

Rita: "Everybody out in the hallway."

[Lucy walks out of her room still in her skeleton PJs.]

Lynn Sr.: "No pajamas. Go, go, go, go."

[Lucy walks back in her room.]

Lynn: "Have any of you guys seen my toothbrush?"

[Lynn Sr. picks up one of Lynn Jr.'s soccer balls, and turns around and gets startled by Lucy in her normal clothes. Rita walks out of Luna's and Lena's room with the twins' jackets and gives them to Lynn Sr.]

Rita: "You put this on them."
[Lynn Sr. walks into the girls' room. Lucy, the twins, and Lisa are in the hallways.]

Lola: [to Lisa] "Your sweater vest looks fine."

Rita: [notices Lynn Sr. with Luna's jacket on and Lena's on his head] "No, put it on them!" [pushes him back in the room]

Lynn Sr.: [to Luna and Lena] "She wants you to wear these."

[Luna and Lena walks out with the jackets on]

Lena: "Was it your intention for us to match outfits cause this looks weird."

[Lynn Sr. hurries out with Luan and adjusts her gag flower. Now most of the girls are out of their rooms and ready]

Lynn: "Does anyone know where my soccer cleats are?"

Rita: "OK, where's Leni?"

Lynn Sr.: "Uh, uh, she's with Lily visiting Pop-Pop." [chuckles]

Rita: "We got everybody."
