Tae stared at the computer screen and then his eyes wondered to the glass door. Again, he saw Jungkook talking to that girl – Joy.
This was not fair.
It was Tae's birthday and Jungkook had done nothing special. In the morning, he merely pecked Tae's lips and wished him a happy birthday. After that, he didn't even wait for breakfast and ate first. When Tae asked him to sit down and give me some company while eating, he made an excuse that he needed to talk to Hyung-sik.
When they reached office, while getting down from the car Tae leaned ahead to kiss as usual but Jungkook moved back saying that the guard was watching them.
And now – it had been more than 5 hours and Jungkook was avoiding Tae. No calls, no texts, no suddenly barging in his cabin.
So, in frustration Tae gave loads of work to everyone.
Why should he suffer all alone?
After an hour, Jungkook stormed in the office with a shocked face, "Tae? What is this? Why do you want the AD company's reports by tonight. I thought we were doing it by next week."
Removing the glasses, Tae stared at his boyfriend with a deadpan face, "Why? Why can't we do it today? What's so special today?"
Licking his lips, Jungkook gasped.
Tae was testing him, playing with him.
"It's your birthday baby," Jungkook said in that lovey dovey voice.
Laughing, Tae stood up from the chair and clapped his hands, "Oh! You remembered it Jungkook? That's an achievement for you."
Startled, Jungkook shook his head, "Tae? What's wrong? Why are you being mean?"
Folding his hands against his chest, Tae stared at Jungkook with angry eyes, "Well - because I thought since it's my first birthday with my dearest boyfriend - he would plan something for me. But instead, he is just ignoring me and pissing me off since morning."
Licking his lip ring, Jungkook stood all silent.
Sighing, he told Tae the original plan, "Babe - this was all a part of the plan we made at home. I, Seojun Hyung, hyung-sik hyung - we just wanted to surprise you in the evening."
Tae wanted to believe Jungkook but he was still annoyed and chided. I mean - Jungkook could have planned something else - something better.
What was this stupid and childish plan?
Who surprises their boyfriend like this even at this age?
"What a stupid plan, Kook!" Tae said bluntly, "Rather than surprising me you have just annoyed me and ruined my day."
"But babe - "
"No wait," Tae blinked and blurted out whatever came into his mind, "How do I know you are not lying? You are just making this up because I started questioning you now."
