"Hey..." bati ko when she answered

"Hey..."

"So... can I talk about it now?"

"Sure"

"Sinabi ko sayo that... I wanna get to know you better, but actually, spending time with you made me realize that... the very first time I saw you from the bakery... tumatak ka na saken choc."

"When was that again? The first time you saw me?"

"I think by this time it was 6 months ago?"

"T-that long?"

"Yeah. I stopped coming by the store after that first time kasi inasikaso ko kapatid ko when she got confined"

"How... exactly did you see me?" Tanong niya making me laugh

"Well..."

"I guess I better try and buy her some sweets again. Sana naman makain na niya to" sambit ko sa sarili ko. This place was our family's favorite bakery and the cakes were our parents favorite. Heidi took a liking to it too pero tumigil when she started having symptoms of anorexia

I was just about to reach the bakery when I heard a girl's voice

"Acck no Leila! No! That's gonna make me fat!"

I walked closer and saw a girl walking back and forth in front of the bakery. She suddenly stared at the chocolate cake and made a weird sound as if slurping her own saliva.

"Chocolate cakkeeee ahhcckk" sambit pa nito jumping in place

"Why not just buy it?" Sambit ko sa sarili ko. I don't understand why they starve themselves

"No Leila. No! Just... just think chocolate! Don't crave it! Think chocolate!" Sambit nito bago umalis ng patakbo sa bakery

"Weird"

"You thought weird of me?!" Reklamo ni Leila

"Well hahaha of course who wouldn't? You were talking to yourself and 'thinking chocolate' hahaha"

"Shet. Aahhhhh nakakahiyaaaaa" sigaw ni Leila sa kabilang linya

"Hahaha"

"Don't laugh at me!"

Funny how I imagined her pouting face just by this statement

"Sorry sorry haha"

"Allaaaann"

"Well hahaha anyways... that's... when you caught my attention, and thinking how far we've come from that moment... I'm so happy to be this close to you choc" sambit ko na nagpatahimik sa kabilang linya

"With your question kung... nanliligaw na ko... hindi pa. Coz I want to formally ask that to your parents as well"

"Y-you'll do that??"

"Of course. I respect your parents so much and my parents taught me how important permission is when it comes to having a relationship. As per when... maybe I'll do it next weekend"

"A-agad?!"

"Patatagalin ko pa ba eh gustong gusto na kita?"

"H-hoy!! Hoooooyyyy!!!" Sigaw ni Leila and funny how I heard her father come inside her room

"Asan kalaban?! Magnanakaw?! Ha?!"

"P-pa! Walang kalaban! Opo! Bye!"
