Alice

CHAPTER 42

"Is she up now?" Ace asks his brothers 

Noah nods Ace goes into her room 

"Magnolia " Ace says to Alice but she again doesn't answer 

He tries again but there is no answer. 

All the people except Steve try their best to make her eat or talk she doesn't respond or move to eat. 

Arthur couldn't look at how things are effecting her sister 

He gives a call to his best friend to share his worries 

"Hello" Klaus says answering the phone 

"Is everything fine there?" Arthur asks 

"yes now everything is settled. There was an attack by Russians on one of my warehouse" Klaus explains the situation

"Good. Any casualties" He asks 

"One of our man was heavily injured" pausing for a second Klaus asks  " Is everything fine there?" 

Arthur releases a sigh " No. Alice is not responding to anything. We don't know what we could do" He says 

Klaus thinks for a moment hesitating before he speak " I will come tomorrow and try to do something" 

"Are you sure you could come?" Arthur asks 

"Yes, everything is fine now I will sort things here and come by tomorrow morning" Klaus says 

"Thanks man" Arthur says hanging up hearing Klaus's 'No problem' 

Arthur informs Ace about Klaus's arrival and goes to Alice's room seeing her peacefully sleep he quietly leaves. 

Everyone in the mansion had a disturbed sleep seeing their princess in this state. They tried to do everything but they didn't have luck she didn't even turn to them. She was lost in her own thoughts. 

Arthur gets a call from Klaus "Hey can you open the door" 

He looks at the clock on his bedside table '4:15' "Are you here? This early?" He asks 

"yeah I just-" Klaus says but Arthur cuts him off saying " It's fine man. I asked for your help I am glad that I have a friend who is willing to help me" he says coming closer to the main door 

Klaus laughs a little " I will always be there for you" he says 

Arthur opens the door and leads Klaus to his bedroom. 

Klaus and Arthur fall asleep as soon as they lie on the bed. 

After all the family are up and eating in the dining room. They come down and have their breakfast greeting everyone present.

"What are you going to do now?" Ace asks Klaus 

Klaus looks at him and asks " Is she awake?" 

Ace nods "I will go and talk to her " 

He is stopped by Alex "We have tried making her talk but she didn't"
