CHAPTER 21

ALICE ROMANO

I woke up to see Arthur is sitting beside me scrolling on his phone and I am in Noah's room I get up from the bed. I recall all the things that happened today 

"What are you doing?" Arthur asks 

"I am going to my room " I say 

"Come back Klaus said you have to rest" he said I go to the bed and sit in front of him 

"I don't want to rest now and who is Klaus?" I ask him

"My friend the one I told you about this morning" he says 

"Did he see me when I had a panic attack?" I ask

"Yes he did and he is the one who helped you " he says

"Ok  " I say  I think I should thank him for helping me "can I-" 

Noah enters the room "How are you feeling Alice?" he asks

"I am fine but-" I look at Arthur, he gives me a questioning look

"He knows Alice " Noah says 

"You told him" I said feeling betrayed 

"Yes I did but he heard us speaking when the family came and he was the one who helped me that day" 

I nod and look at Arthur  " Are you going to tell everyone ? No one will believe me ?will you send me back to him ?" 

"Relax, No he will not. " a new voice said I turn to the voice and see a man sitting on the sofa 

I look at Arthur and he nods saying "He is my friend Klaus" 

I smile at him "Thank you for helping me earlier" I say

"No problem, you can tell me anything and call me whenever you want " he says

"Thank you Klaus " I say

"Noah d- dad send me to him and he was right when he said me that it was because of Steve Romano " I say while a tear rolled down my eye 

"Can you tell me about your flashback Alice " he says as he sits beside me 

I look at everyone present in the room " I-" Klaus cuts me saying "I have some work,I will be in Arthur's room if anyone needs."

I nod at him and he leaves the room.

I turn towards Arthur and Noah who are now sitting beside each other they give me a nod and I tell them about the flashback.

"Alice dad didn't send you to Russia he sent you to our mother" Noah says

"Why are you lying to me Noah?" I ask him . Is he trying to save dad?

"he isn't lying though your departure is related to him. Can you listen to him ?" Arthur asks 

I nod and turn towards and he  tells me what exactly happened that day 

Tears drop from his face "I am sorry Alice I tried to explain him but he didn't listen to me, I know it's my fault-" he says but I hug him 

"No it isn't and he didn't listened to you when you explained him" I say and pull back 

"But I still think he was right Noah " I said

"no" Arthur says

"He always said that it is because of Steve when h-he was in the basement" I say

The door opens with a thud 

" What are you talking about Alice" Alex asks

"Nothing " I say and lay on the bed covering myself with Noah's blanket and turn the other side.

Alex comes to my side while patting my hair and said "stella princess please tell me if there is anything" 

"I-" I get up and hug him and cry in his arms while Noah and Arthur hold my hands.

"Stella everything is fine. If you don't want to meet dad I will keep him away from you" he says 

I look at him "A-are you sure?" 

"yes stella" he pauses for a second " I will but can you tell me what is going on please" he says wiping my tears. 

I look at Noah he gives me a nod "Ok but you have to bring Bruno" I tell Alex 

"ok stella" he says

"Can he be with me all the time then" I ask him 

He looks at me for a minute and nods  "Ok" 

"I had a few nightmares in which I was tortured by a man but I couldn't see him he said that I am there because of Steve Romano, every time he was there he said this and I think he is right now" I say 

"What? Why did you not tell us about these nightmares" I look at Noah 

"Cause she did tell me some of it" Noah says

"Some of it? I thought you know everything about the nightmares " Arthur says

"No I didn't tell him everything and I don't want to say anything more than what I have said to Noah to anyone else" I say

"Ok is there anything else that Noah knows more than what you have said now?" Alex asks

I nod " when the rest of the family came, he was there as well. I think it is one of the uncle's " I say

"No this can't be maybe you are mistaken Stella, they are good people they have always loved you" Alex says

"Do you not believe me?" I ask him

"No we do believe you and we will do everything we can to keep you safe this time. I promise " Arthur says

"WE promise" Alex says and Noah nods in agreement 

"Thank you " 

"can we go to Ace and tell him everything now" Alex says

"NO" I say 

"What, why not we have to tell him he will be there for you like us " Alex says

"I don't think she wants anyone else to know about this except us Alex " Arthur says

"Yes please promise me that you wont say anything to anyone" I say to the three of them 

"What we have to Stella we can't hide this from Ace and Elijah " Alex says

"If you say anything to anyone I wont say anything to you and I will not be talking to you three" I say

"Ok fine We promise, we will protect you " Alex says

"And we will keep dad away from you as long as you want" Noah says 

"Yes we will" Arthur says 

I smile at them " When will Bruno be here?" I ask Alex 

"Tomorrow" he says
