I was furious that he took her and as I stormed into his office I surly indeed found her.
"How did you get in here?" Dumbledore asked softly or shocked
"You took her why?" I snapped and pointed at lady henna
"Oh trinity dear don't let the wolf out, it's ok I'm dearly fine i promise" lady henna said trying to calm me
"Wolf?" Dumbledore asked softly
"Lady henna you can't go around saying that" I groaned
I pinched the bridge of my nose in between my fingers as I took a deep breath.
"Must tell you now seeing as you'll try reading my mind" I said
"Please sit" Dumbledore said motioning to the chair in front of his desk
I took a breath and sat down in the leather chair before I spoke.
"Before arriving at Hogwarts I tried doing a spell to become an animegus didn't go well apparently and turns out I made myself a hybrid, wolf and witch and I don't know why it happened or how it happened just know it did" I said
"A strange thing indeed, Miss potter do you know the strength of that spell you did" he said
"Well not exactly, but I know trying to do an animegus spell at eleven is rather difficult sir" I said
"Very yet you managed to do so, or attempted to do so, but let me ask you this dear, do you feel it? Do you feel connections stronger than before?" He asked
"You know something don't you" I said
"I may know something but you must answer me" he said
"I felt it when I got angry for the first time against Harry, I nearly turned full wolf it was as if it was clawing at my insides to get out, I feel connected to two people more strongly than anything or anyone else and I don't know what it is" I said
"Soulmates" he said softly but I heard it
"What that's not possible though" I said
"A wolf in nature has a mate correct" he said
"Well yes" I said
"This is the magic world dear, anything more than you know can in fact be possible, you tried a third year spell and consequences followed both good and bad, you have two soulmates and you may see that as both good and bad it all depends on how you see it, but it's there you created the bond well sort of" he said
"What do you mean sort of?" I asked
"Before these types of spells are done you have to have something deep down inside something stronger than others, a real form of natural magic stronger than any other, but you also have to have a strong desire for things and you have both, your heart and soul split in three, one half still with you, the second in another and the third in a third person, when together you feel stronger and calmer more in control" he said
"But what does it mean? Do I have to choose?" I asked
"No in fact your destiny is to be with both now that you've drawn out a new path for yourself by doing that spell" he said
"Thank you professor, and can you please put lady henna back it's crucial you do so" I said
He nodded and with that I left the office and went to the common room in the dungeons. When I opened the door Reggie was waiting it seems everyone else had gone to bed already. As I walked further into the room Reggie noticed me and got up to walk over. Meeting in the middle he gently grabbed my hand and pulled my sleeve up. I knew what he was checking for, I knew what he wanted to know.
"Reggie" I said softly while trying to pull away
He gently ran his thumb long the bruises so lightly as he didn't want to hurt me.
"Who?" He asked
"I can't" I said softly
"Trinity" he said looking up and into my eyes
His other hand went to my cheek and on instinct I flinched causing him to really know now.
"I'm sorry reg, I didn't mean to flinch I know you'd never hurt me" I rushed out the words
"Shhh it's ok, I know you didn't mean it, I do understand and I will protect you just tell me who" he said
I looked down at my hands just as Theo came out of his dorm rubbing his eyes.
"There you are reg" Theo said
He saw me and then the bruises and gasped which made tears from in my eyes.
"Cara Mia who?" Theo hissed
"The people I live with weren't happy I was sorted into Slytherin that's all I can or will say" I said
"Damn Cara Mia I'm so sorry" Theo said
"Please just don't say anything and don't treat me differently now" I said
It was then that I realized why they seemed to notice out of everyone else. Why their scent was stronger, sweeter than the others and why it drew me in. But do I tell them, tell them they have no choice but to be with me. Or do I wait for them to fall naturally in love then break it to them. Wouldn't that be cruel, worse than just saying it now in front of them.
"You want to tell us something don't you?" Reggie said
"I have soulmates, I went to Dumbledore for a reason before I came back here, but the conversation went towards myself instead of what it was originally about, he told me that the spell I did not only made me a hybrid but gave me soulmates in a way I already had them but the spell intensified it" I said
"Oh so you are destined to be with someone specifically" Reggie looked hurt so did Theo
"Not one, two people" I said
"But who would share someone like that?" Theo asked
"They will learn, but my thing is, I don't know if I tell them now or wait until they figure it out on their own" I said softly
