"Good. Great actually!" I say as it was actually fantastic
"Hm....and what about the deals with tripathi?"
"Fine." I say with a casual nod.
"Ruhaan?"
"Hmm?" I say not averting my gaze from the place where Lavanya was sitting in the garden in the morning.
She was looking gorgeous in that dress.
"Did you have any nightmare again?"
At his question, my body was stiff where I was sitting, I couldn't form a proper sentence as always at the mention of Nightmares. All I managed to do was a nod, in response he got worried but didn't show that much outside.
"When?" He calmly asked
"Last night" I say
"Why didn't you tell me or your mother?"
"I got busy with calls in the morning, plus you were also busy and.....happy." I said remembering the smiling face of my mother with sweats as she was busy arranging sweets for god knows who.
"Did you take any tablets?" He asks while looking straight in my direction.
I nod.
"Any discomfort now?"
I shook my head in a negative way.
"Still trying to cover those hurts in the sheets of work. Ha?" He says reflecting the pain he always felt for me.
I look down on my glass, not wanting him to see the mist in my eyes. I can't control whenever I am with my parents, they give me a safe place in this vicious world that has given Me enough pain other than fame, it's the pain that still bugs like thousands of pins at a time.
"Did you tell your mother anything?" He asks
"No. Please Don't tell her" the words slipped In an instance knowing how she will be again broken due to me.
"I won't. But don't take pills. I already warned you about that. These were not happening in the last few months then suddenly? What triggered you?"
Because the reason behind it was the library girl aka now your fiancée
Oh lord my mind.
"This City. Jaipur!" I say emphasising this particular city for the start of endless depression and destruction years ago and still Causing me.
"I can understand. Even though I don't want to come here, everyone forgot about that incident and children were happy to come here so I didn't burge in between." He says explaining his helplessness in front of everyone's happy face as mine.
"Its okay. Same with me. I couldn't deny it even"
I say not wanting to stretch this endless agony matter anymore.
"Well The Ruhaan Mehrotra is getting married now." He says emphasising the word married
Not again!
"Papa please." I said knowing my palms are getting clumsy with sudden sweats.
"What? I just said that you're getting married. What's wrong in the sentence" He retorts back
"I don't like it." I said, reflecting a fake anger.
"Ok you should respect your status! You are single and bachelor but you will not after tomorrow night! You have to accept the change." Papa said trying to make me melt my walls for this particular thing making me respect it which I do but it's better not to show it until I believe on it.
