'do you haveeee to go' matilda groaned out as she sat cross legged on her bed, watching theodore pack some clothes into a bag. 'you know if i had the choice i'd be staying here with you' he said as he walked over to her and gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead. she pulled him towards her to deepen to kiss as her hands went to his hair, tugging on it gently. his hands rubbed patterns on her back before he pulled away, looking at her before looking down and moving away. he went back to his bag, trying to pack the clothes so everything would fit. matilda let out a sigh at the loss of contact he looked up at her and gave her a sad smile. 'i'm not glass you know' she spoke out, breaking the silence, 'hm?' he didn't look at her, still packing his bag. 'i mean i'm not gonna break if you hold me too tight or anything' she chuckled as he looked up at her 'oh' he sighed out as he got up and walk towards her again as she stayed sat on the end of the bed. 'no yeah, i know that, it's just that..' he mumbled out, trailing off the end of his sentence 'it's just that what' she asked tilting her head to the side as she looked up at him, taking his hands in hers. 'i just mean, i'm about to go back to school and leave you here by yourself, it's not fair for either of us to be more than friends right?' he said, almost as if he didn't believe what he was saying, her smile faltered a little 'oh' she sighed out 'no, yeah, i mean, i get it' she said, a sad smile covering her face.

'wait? you said what?' mattheo question, throwing his arms in the air 'i just said i didn't really think we could make it work!' theo replied defensive 'my god. so you turned her down? you turned down matilda black??!' mattheo almost squealed, trying to keep his composure 'well i didn't turn her down, i mean, i guess i just, i like umm' theo let out a sigh 'i don't know why i did that actually' he said, letting out a breath 'right, i mean it was pretty stupid' mattheo replied. 'damn i probably made her feel like shit' theo turned to mattheo, a look of realisation covering his face while mattheo gave him a sympathetic look 'look just talk to her tonight I'm sure she'll understand' mattheo replied as they continued walking to class.
