It was the end of the school day of January 17th, 2011. Perci was walking to her car, since none of the teachers needed her anymore, when she was lightly grabbed and pulled away by Derek.

"Hey!" Perci protested

Derek released her arm and started walking side by side with her, "Sorry." He apologized

Perci took her bag off her shoulder and held it out, waiting for Derek to take it like he used to do when they were younger. Which he did and then wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

The two continued to walk in the direction of the Lacrosse field and Perci sighed when she saw where they were going, "Why are we going to the lacrosse field?" She asked

"Scott has lacrosse practice." The Hale Man answered

Perci nodded, "Yeah, I know. I wanted to take a car nap before my dance classes." She said

Derek didn't say anything, he just directed her behind the stands and off to the side.

As she went to step away from Derek, he shifted so he was behind her. From his position, he guided her so her back was to his chest and loosely wrapped his arms around her, "Stay and close your eyes."

Perci leaned back so her head was resting on Derek and closed her eyes, "You're buying me food after work."

"I'll get you food before work as well. Do you still get a large curly fry and a peanut butter milkshake with whipped cream on the bottom before your dance class?" Derek asked

Perci nodded but didn't say anything else as Scott and Stiles arrived at the lacrosse field just as Coach Finstock had begun announcing their first task, "Let's go! One-on-one from up top!" The man yells

Honestly, the man was so loud that Derek didn't have to use his wolf hearing.

Coach turned to look at Jackson, who was running onto the field, "Jackson-- take a long stick today." He told the younger Whittemore boy

Jackson nodded and dropped the stick he was holding in favor of the longer one that Coach instructed him to take before running back onto the field.

"Atta boy!" Finstock clapped

Jackson took his place on the field, James paused in looking at the playbook to look at the bleachers for Perci and when he didn't see her, he looked disappointed. When Coach blew his whistle, the lacrosse bully scooped up a ball and the team started the play. The players ran around the field, passing the ball to each other and shoulder-checking their opponents as they tried to score a goal, with Coach watching with a focused expression as he followed their movements from the sidelines.

"Remember when the main sport here was basketball?" Derek asked

Perci hummed, "How could I forget? I was your good luck charm during your games." She remembered fondly

Derek smiled to himself and rest his chin on top of his Sephy's head, "You were my anchor as well." He told her

The two were brought out of reminiscing due to Coach shouting again.

This time at Scott.

"McCall, what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Coach shouted
