We got to the apartment and Max insisted that he help me unbox everything. My stuff had arrived 2 days before I landed and Max was kind enough to be there when the movers brought everything up. I was staying on the 8th floor, whereas Max was on the 9th floor. I had seen what Max's apartment looked like from FaceTime calls but I had never seen it in person. Let's just say my jaw hit the floor, as soon as he opened the door to my new place.

As you walk in through a hallway there is a large kitchen to your right and in front is a living space with kinda large ceilings for an apartment place. Connecting to the living space is a balcony area, which kinda looks like the ones you find in Italy but much bigger, with enough space to have a 6 chair table or even an outdoor couch. Passing the kitchen and living space there's another hallway which first has an office on the left, then further down a guest bedroom, having a bathroom space with a shower and toilet next door. Then right at the end is the master bedroom with a ensuite.

I was in awe of the place, never could I imagine getting to officially start my adult life on my own, in such a beautiful place. I was so grateful and appreciative of the effort Max went into to secure this place for me. This apartment building was always booked out and if one place became vacant, it would be snatched up within hours. I slowed down and turned around to Max, as he stood behind me in the living room, watching me look out at the amazing view before me.

I ran and jumped up into his arms and kept repeating "thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you"

Max almost fell backwards, being startled by my actions.

As he laughed, he said "God Lucie, you've been with me for less than 2 hours and you can't keep your hands off me, if I knew this was going to happen I would have never meet you in person"

"Oh shut up" I said, as I couldn't take the smile off my face.

He's always trying to rial me up with comments like that but we always and I mean always just end up laughing.

We unpacked all my boxes and put all my stuff in the right places, Max and I did argued about where the cutlery should go, I said left draw and max said right draw. We argued for 45 minutes, unbelievable it was my place after all, I was paying the rent after all.

It was nearing 10pm and Max had media jobs to do tomorrow with Reb Bull. We both said our goodbyes and gave each other a hug

"Lucie if you need anything I'm just one floor up, don't go all shy on me now that we are metres away from each other"

He said as he pulled back and smiled at me.

"Thank you Maxie, for everything"

I spoke as he walked towards the door and gave me one last smile.

As I heard the door shut and I turned to walk out onto the balcony, I felt a spark grow inside me. Each step I took it felt like I was getting closer and closer to my dreams. I gazed out over the Monaco night sky and my eyes welled up with tears. No one here knew who I was and I couldn't wait for them to get to see the real me and not Romero's little sister.
