Ricky's pov
"I can't believe it," I exclaimed while slamming my hand down on the table. "She was right there, and I froze like a fool." I was still shaken from the recent events. Chris, sensing my distress, tried to calm me down. "Ricky, take a deep breath. We should be grateful for what she did. Without her, we wouldn't have known where she was." Vinny nodded in agreement and added, "She's a brave woman, Ricky. She's been through a lot, but she's okay now." Despite their reassurance, I couldn't shake off the image of her looking rough, with her shirt all bloody and ripped, and her makeup smudged.

"Vin reassured the group, "She can handle a little longer, if she can handle a surgery she can handle anything." Hearing this, Ricky's mind began to race, imagining the worst-case scenarios. What if something goes wrong on the way to the asylum? What if they get into a car accident? As he worried, Chris shouted, "Ricky snap out of it!" causing the babies to cry. "Damn it..." Ricky sighed, getting up to check on them, feeling anxious and overwhelmed by the situation.

As I stepped into the bunk room, I could hear the babies crying. My heart sank as I realized that their mother was not there to comfort them. I approached the tiny beds and tried to soothe them with my voice, gently whispering, "We will see mommy soon, I promise." The sight of their innocent faces and tiny hands was both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Rosie, wouldn't stop crying. I felt a pang of worry and concern as I tried to figure out what was wrong. I quickly got up and grabbed both her and Caleb's bottles. To my relief, that seemed to calm them down.

Just then, Chris walked into the room. "I'm sorry I woke them up after you had a hard time getting them to sleep," he said apologetically. I nodded slowly, still lost in thought. "Chris, we need to get their mother back," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. He looked at me annoyed, but I could tell he shared my concern.

I walked over to the window and looked outside, trying to calm my thoughts. The night was dark and silent, with only a few stars shining in the sky. The babies had finally fallen asleep again, and the room was getting quiet once more. But I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease and worry that had settled in my heart.

As I gazed out of the window, I felt my eyes growing heavy and my mind slowly slipping into a peaceful slumber. The world outside was serene, with everything bathed in a soft, soothing light that seemed to lull me into a state of calm. Despite the noise and chaos of the world outside, in that moment, everything felt still and tranquil, as though the world had paused just for me.

Chris' pov
The manager drove behind Leo's van as the tension in the air thickened. My heart was racing uncontrollably, and I couldn't seem to calm down. Rowan had risked her safety to help us locate her, and we owed it to her to take her to the hospital after we retrieved her. I noticed some poorly done stitching from her surgery, and it was beginning to look infected. I didn't want to tell Ricky about it and add to his worries, so I kept quiet.

I glanced over at Ricky, and he was sound asleep. I hoped he wouldn't have another screaming episode in the middle of the night. We had about 15 hours until we reached the asylum, and I prayed that Leo didn't have any sinister plans in store for us. "She'll be okay," Ryan reassured me, snapping me out of my anxious thoughts. "I know she will be, but I'm more concerned about Ricky," I admitted. "We're all worried about her, and it's alright to be honest. We'll get her home safely," Ryan said reassuringly.

Rowan's pov
Lying in the backseat, discomfort from cuts after being tackled. Knees and side throbbed with pain. Leo asked, "Ready for this crazy thing?" I hesitated, "It seems dangerous." Leo laughed, "That's the point!" Hospital attention was needed for my infected stitches and whatever he had planned.

As we drove down the road, I couldn't help but feel a sense of uneasiness in the air. Leo had mentioned his plan to crash the van as part of the first task, but I had no idea what other crazy ideas he had up his sleeve. Looking behind us, I saw a tour bus trailing close behind. To my surprise, Chris was sitting next to the manager, looking incredibly stressed and worried. The situation was clearly taking its toll on him.

As for me, I was just relieved to see Ricky's face when he found me. But the thought of not being able to go home with them was nerve-wracking. I knew I needed medical attention, but Leo just brushed it off and assured me that I was fine. Despite his reassurances, I couldn't help but feel a sharp pain in my side.

As we drove on, I searched the van for anything that could be of use. That's when I noticed some paper and pencils lying on the ground. It was a small ray of hope. Maybe I could use it to give the boys a hint about our situation. Without wasting any time, I quickly started to draw a picture of a car crash and placed it on the back window, hoping that they would spot it and come to my rescue.

Chris remained oblivious to the picture on the wall until a few moments had passed. Suddenly, he noticed it and reached for his phone. I couldn't help but hope that he was planning to call the police on Leo. However, before I could speculate any further, Leo's shout startled me out of my thoughts. "What are you doing back there?!" he bellowed, causing me to jump slightly. Trying to conceal my fear, I quickly dropped the paper and averted my gaze. "Nothing," I muttered under my breath, hoping that my response would appease him.

As the car screeched around a sharp turn, I felt my body lurch to the side. My heart raced as I looked over at the driver, who was gripping the steering wheel tightly. "I saw what you did!" he yelled over the sound of the engine. "You're in big trouble now!" I braced myself as he stepped on the gas, causing the car to lurch forward. Suddenly, I fell out of my seat and onto the floor. Quickly, I scrambled to my feet and buckled my seatbelt. "Please slow down!" Ash shouted, her voice trembling. "No, we have to go now!" Leo shouted back. "Chris probably called the cops on us!"

As I turned around to check for the tour bus, my heart sank as I realized that it was nowhere to be seen. Panic started to set in as I wondered how we got separated from the group. Just then, the sound of cop sirens filled the air, bringing a glimmer of hope. Ash yelled for Leo to pull over, but he seemed determined to outrun the police. My fear intensified as I watched Leo hit the gas pedal even harder, despite the danger. As Ash warned him about the possibility of hitting someone, it was too late. Leo crashed into another vehicle, causing the van to flip over. The world spun around me as I struggled to comprehend what had just happened.

As I sat there, surrounded by what felt like a suffocating weight, the seatbelt became my prison. I reached for the button, but it seemed to be just out of reach. The silence in the vehicle was deafening, and I couldn't hear a word from either Ash or Leo. For a moment, I allowed myself to hope that this ordeal was finally over and that I could return home to my family. As I sat there lost in thought, I felt a mix of emotions; fear, relief, confusion, and a deep sense of exhaustion.

The world spun around me as I found myself sitting in a flipped over van, surrounded by eerie silence. I could feel a warm trickle of blood running down my forehead, and the pain was slowly beginning to set in. My heart was pounding with fear and anxiety, as I struggled to keep my eyes open. I hoped and prayed for someone to come to my rescue soon, but as time passed by, my hope began to dwindle, and I felt myself slipping into a state of helplessness and despair....
