forty two — reality, messages.

sooo.. i'm not telling jaden, but ever since we went out to eat that one day and he told me how i should release a christmas album, it really stuck to me.
and today i decided to start working on it. well actually, i didn't just start.

i already know i want to do a cover of last christmas, and i already started working on a song, but i have only a few lyrics done. specifically, only the chorus.

i have actually no idea what i want to call it.
here are the lyrics so far:

that's it so far, not very hard to come up with. but i want it to be like.. jumpy and fun, i don't know how to explain it.

i'm by myself today in the studio so it's kind of just up to me to finish the song. that's okay though, i sometimes like writing by myself.

i sat down in my spinny chair and got to work.
at first, i just stared down at my notebook as i chewed on my pen. nothing was popping up. but then, a random lyrics just popped up in my head.

" And whatever is on your list, I'll do it"

it's pretty decent, it could work.

it took me like ten minutes, but then i came up with a few more lyrics that finished the pre chorus.

"I'm just tryna keep my baby warm through the wintertime
I'm just tryna give you something to remember through the summertime
And whatever is on your list, I'll do it
Boy, whatever it is, you know I'll do it"

i'm kind of liking it so far......
but i feel like i need to work on the first verse.
maybe it'll help if i think of a name???

december? i don't know.

actually maybe december could work. i'm not sure yet, but i mean.. christmas is in december .. like it could come out to be something good.

okay, let me try to write something.
after a few minutes of more chewing on my pen, i came up with two lyrics.

"When December comes, I bet you want to
Wrap me all up and take me home with you"

i think it's good. now i just have to write the rest of the first verse, and then the second verse. okay that's not too much.

after about 20 minutes, i was done with everything. i was so proud of myself. i liked it, a lot.
but.. i think that was enough for me today.

i feel a bit accomplished, i mean i finished a song, but ive kind of supposed to have finished like three by now.
well actually, i do have 3. i have santa tell me, which we wrote like a day ago, last christmas that im doing a cover of, and this one. now i need like .. two or three more. that's not hard??!!
