it was now saturday and kenma had come over about 2 hours ago as we very diligently worked on our project which consisted of kenma yelling at me for the most part how exciting!
"y/n please"
"what! i'm not even doing anything"
"okay just one more sec then we'll take a break please"
"roger that sir"
"what?!" kenma said laughing but also very confused
"yay finally i'm so done with this damn project there is glue and paint all over my hands" i said getting up from the table
"girl all ya did was make a mess and not hold a piece of cardboard for one nanosecond" kenma said also getting up from the table
"lies lies and more lies but let's clean up the table and go to the connivence store that's not too far my parents left me some money for us to get food"
"okay sounds good and it also sounds like you're broke"
"ya know what you can just strave"
also i forget to mention that we had to change up the house we were doing the project at since kenma was staying over at kuroo's as his parents were out of town for a bit
but it wasn't really too much of an inconvenience since i even ended up forgetting about the whole thing about going over to his house as i only woke up because he was knocking on the front door, what? a princess needs her beauty rest (😜)
kenma and i cleaned up the table as we set the project to dry and wiped down the table organizing all the supplies and throwing away the scraps and plastic
"looks good thank you!" i said smiling
"yup now let's go i'm hungry" kenma said putting on his jacket as i did the same as we slipped on our shoes making our way out the door
as we walked it was cloudy and windy outside but it was so calming and peaceful
"you okay?" kenma said slightly smiling as he nudged me
"oh yea why" i asked
"you look deep in thought"
"oh sorry i'm good my face just turns like that at times" i said laughing a bit
all kenma did was smile at me as we continued our walk which took a under 10 minutes since the store wasn't too far from my house
as he entered the store we greeted the elder man working cashier as we grabbed a basket and began to fill it with items
"omg have you tried the chicken here it's so good" i asked eagerly
"let's get it then i wanna try it since it's so good" kenma said as he grabbed it putting it into the basket
we walked around the little store grabbing some chips, candy, and drinks as we also got some onigiri
"we got so many things" kenma said laughing
"it's okay don't worry about it" i said reassuringly
we talked up to the cashier as we got placed our items on the counter
"wait y/n could you grab me a lemonade real quick please" kenma begged
"okay fine i'll be right back"
as i went to grab the lemonade unknowingly kenma paid for all the items we got despite my parents leaving money for us to use
when i got back with the lemonade kenma already had the bags in his hands
"wait i didn't pay yet"
"it's okay i did even for that lemonade in your hands let's go" kenma said with a smile on his face
"kenma whyyyyy" i said following him out the store
"don't worry about it okay"
"thank you though kenma you really didn't have to" i said feeling bad
"i wanted to trust me" kenma said
"alright then let's go home also wanna watch a movie" i asked excitedly as kenma and i walked
"okay but i'm choosing the movie"
"that's not fair though kenma why can't i"
