Eloise’s mind spun as Taehyung’s lips pressed against hers, igniting a firestorm of conflicting emotions within her. She could feel the raw power emanating from him, a force that both terrified and enticed her in equal measure. Before Eloise could respond, a sudden rustling in the bushes drew their attention. Taehyung tensed, his senses on high alert as he scanned the darkness for any sign of danger.
“We must go,” he said abruptly, his tone commanding. “It is not safe here.”
Eloise nodded wordlessly, her heart pounding in her chest as she followed Taehyung deeper into the forest. With each step, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being drawn into a world far beyond her wildest imaginings, a world where demons and mortals collided in a tangled web of desire and danger.
