The Purpose of Being Called 📞:

I'm at the part of Matthew where Jesus calls four of his disciples, Peter and Andrew first. Peter and Andrew were fishermen and they were good at it too. Jesus found them operating in the midst of their man-given calling and shifted it for his glory.

He says to them, "Come to Me and I will make you fishers of men."

Meaning he will assign them to guide his people to him.

God will call you in the midst of your man-given purpose and shift it around for His will and His glory. But you must be willing to follow Him, simply out of pure faith.

Further down, Jesus calls James and John. Just like Peter and Andrew, they too were fishing but with their father, Zebedee. When Jesus called them, and immediately they left and follow him. When God calls you, you have to be willing to leave your old to see about your new.
