Chapter 3: An Unfortunate Newcomer

The led light above me shined itself on my eyes, waking me up- i sat up slowly as i gazed around the room

"Still here, huh?" I whispered to myself..as if i genuinely expected to wake up elsewhere... secretly, i wished I'd never woke up at all. Any of those two options would be better than *this*. I dragged myself to my wardrobe and tugged on random things emotionlessly, i didn't even care what it was i chose- i just walked into the bathroom and began to change into them. 

I took a quick look at myself in the mirror, I'd chose a pair of black leggings and a black wooly jumper, this would be fine. I caught sight of my witch hat which was lying in the corner where I'd thrown it- i just left it there. I locked my door as i began walking, i wasn't going anywhere specific- i was just going wherever my legs were taking me. I closed my eyes and hung my head, i had no clue where i was going. I ended up standing Infront of the dining hall doors- maybe Kirumi was here, as i reached out my hand to open the door i could hear some sniffing sounds. I pushed the door open slowly to see Kirumi crying whilst sitting at the table alone 

"Hey Kirumi..want some company?" She looked up at me and tried to give me a smile 

"That would be nice, thank you Hitomi!" She wiped her eyes as i sat beside her, i didn't really know what i should say..so i just placed an arm around her.

"It's okay..i miss her too" I told her, she nodded. We sat in silence for a little while as Kirumi cried some more, i sat beside her the whole time

 "We'll get out of here, I'll.. I'll make sure of it" I stuttered, she smiled at me- her smile was wider.

"Is there anything i can do to help cheer you up a little? Are you hungry? I can try make you something" I offered

 "No, no I'm okay, thank you!" She shook her hands

 "I..do have a question i would like to ask you though, if that is okay with you?" Kirumi told me

 "Yeah! What would you like to ask me?" I asked her curiously 

"It is very risky, so bare with me here..are you..really able to create spells?" She asked me

 "Of course! That's my talent"

 "No, no, not that...i know you are fully capable too, but.. you can do it even in your lab *here*?" Now i could see where she was coming from.

"Yeah, i can" I nodded 

"I understand you created a destruction spell to try and eliminate Monokuma and his cubs along with the Exisals? You.. partnered up with Miu, correct?"

 "Yeah! She was making a mega blaster, and the bullets were filled to the rim with my destruction spell. When it was shot off the target would be covered in my spell therefore making the bullets way more effective!" I confirmed 

"Wow! You are incredible! So is Miu!" Kirumi complimented

 "Thank you! It's a shame our plan was wrecked though.." I sighed 

"I hate to ask...but are you still able to create spells?" she tilted her head

 "I dunno...Monokuma changed the locks on my lab temporarily.. I don't know if it's still like that.." I told her

 "Would you..be able to try? I do hate to ask.." Kirumi asked

 "I can try! You wanna come?" She stood up in an instant 

"Please, yes..thank you" I nodded and began making my way to the lab as Kirumi walked beside me. 

*CLICK* The door swung open
