Alex showed me to his room far above the cells. "I'm not doing anything with you. I have to save myself you know" I told him as I walked in. "Got it" he understood, good. I walked into the room and saw almost the same room as Kaleb's. "Your dress is in the bathroom." His voice pointed as I walked into the bathroom and into the bath where I started my bath. "Where are you?!" Kaleb's voice was angry and concerned. "Alex asked me to go with him to the dance. What are you now, my keeper?" I smirked as I saw him standing alone in my cell. "Are you only attending with him or would you rather have two on your arm?" His sly response made me think. Next thing I know Kaleb was knocking on the door. "What do you want Mr hades" Alex had a condescending tone. "I'm here for our date" he replied and I heard steps . I heard a cackle from Alex and then I looked at the dress and gawked at the sheer cloth. You wouldn't have much imagination for it. "Would you like another option?" The cold and husky voice asked. I could feel his emotions, he wasn't asking because the dress was rather not my style but because he knew about my choice. He understood where I stood. "Yes" I smiled when I turned to the door and the dress was hanging there. The white sundress was revealing on my shoulders but everything was covered. The neck hung low but it was beautiful. The thick cloth went to my waist where the loose tool flowed. It was covered in delicate lace flowers. I found golden jewelry hanging near the other dress and I put them on as well. I looked at Alex's choice of dress and found a crown of some kind that had two sides that stood tall and chains floating between the two sides with little crystals strung into it. I placed it on my head and then looked  into the magic thing I was looking at. It reflected me like water would. I opened the door and Alex and Kaleb both looked at me and their mouths fell open. "She looks..." Alex couldn't finish. "Like the..." Kaleb couldn't finish either. "She looks high fae" Alex completed. "Yes" they both just stood there looking over at me. Alex's eyes found my waist and top half. Kaleb was staring at the crown on my head. " Well, are you all changing or is this event about me?" I asked and they both blinked and looked down then at eachother then down to my bare feet. "You are gorgeous" Kaleb walked up to me and softly grabbed my chin. He pulled my head up to face his. "Gods" he looked away and then into my eyes. "I would really like for you to survive this, then maybe we'll. I'm not sure what humans do but whatever it is to get you to be with me." His voice was raspy and confident. I felt my lips start to curl. I relaxed my face. "What if I decline your offer?" I asked tilting my head he sighed and looked around and then at me. "If you have a lover waiting for you at home, he obviously doesn't love you enough to not go in your place" he paused and squeezed my chin slightly. "I would never let anything happen to my love" he kept my head still. I looked into his eyes and found something new. A desire. A sense to protect. "Okay, I may take you up on you offer" I said and looked away and he released my chin. "Just because you kill for a living doesn't mean you get to keep her for yourself. What if I wanted to court her?" I heard whispers so far yet so close, pay attention and don't cause a sudden movement I told myself. Alex spoke and stepped forward. "Who said anything about courting? I would make sure she was safe, then I would uh what is it humans do before marriage?" He started strong then lost it. "It's called the first three triumphs, if you win the lady's heart you may marry under the sun." I smiled thinking about the sun filled beach air. "I will complete the three triumphs and win her heart, then marry the girl that changed the new world" he stated as a fact. "You sound overly confident" I said and walked to the door, "Alex could still have a good chance in the running" I said and Alex rushed to my side and walked me out of the door. I looked to where I heard whispering. I found two little boys and a little girl with red hair and almost orange eyes. "James,Kaden, and Hayleen" Kaleb had stepped out of the room. "Sorry Kaleb, we heard the new human was so pretty she could stop death" the little girl spoke and looked at me. Her eyes eyeballed me. "Wow she really could stop all time" she watched and Kaleb took my other arm and walked with Alex and me. I looked out of the corner of my eye and nodded at her. They all ran giggling. We made it to the dark hallway and I took a breath as I held my chin high. Everyone turned as I walked in with the tow finest men and looked like a god. Or at least that's what Kaleb says.  "Confident" the witch was not on her throne but there were two now. She was bent over a little basket. "And you have good men on your arms." She turned and I saw the baby in the cradle. I remembered what Kaleb had said about how children were a very long process and extremely rare. "Tell her what the walls whisper" Kaleb could hear them too. "I told you. Something not to far will be here but not two faces but one will be etched in stone. I would like to congratulate you, and I would like to see my sister" I told the bitch in my nicest tone. "Why thank you. I assume you shall see her before your death" she smiled and walked away with the fat child. I looked around and my sister emerged from a room she had a hood on and was wearing a cloak. She had a big smiled on her lips. I walked over and hugged her. "I'm so sorry for dragging you into this, I missed you so much" I stayed there as her arms wrapped around my waist. "I'm sorry" She whispered and I heard her voice break. "What?" I looked at her and she stepped back and took her hood off. The thick cloak fell off her shoulder and her hair was longer and tucked behind her pointed ears. "W-what happened?" I reached out and touched it. "You were dying and I couldn't face myself if I let it happen. You had an infection and you were on the brink of death." She looked down and regretted her whole decision. I didn't blame her. "You were sent by her?" I looked over my shoulder and Kaleb was standing not that far, watching over us. He nodded. "Why would you make a deal with her??!" I started walking with fire following my heels. His eyes went wide and probably regretted training me. "He didn't" my little sister's voice wasn't so little anymore, she was confident and a woman. And fae. I looked at Kaleb and my face was full of disgust. "You changed her?" I asked and he nodded once by jerking his chin down. "Then reverse it. Now, she needs to be my little sister again. She had to experience everything without me. I missed a part of her life." I had not let tears fall but they were beginning to fall from my eyes. "He can't" Vanessa's voice was sweet again. I turned to her and saw her ears then to her face. Her left eye is a soft blue with green and browns in the other eye. "Why did your eye color change?" I asked her as my hand moved to cup her cheek. She leaned into it. "Magic, I possess some now. Just to keep myself protected. Because I was human I had all hair and skin the same but the doctor here says because I was still growing the magic was able to seep into my body and through my hair and into my eyes." She pulled out a back strand in her hair that was turning black. "What?" I shook my head in disbelief. "Kaleb" Vanessa looked into his eyes and held something like the conversations we had. "Try it with her" he told me, "Vanessa I don't want you to do something like that ever again. Do you understand?" I sent my mental message to her and looked into her eyes and she heard me. "What the-" she said and her mouth fell open. "I know. Something is different here, she is different. Did you remember anything from childhood?" He asked her as if she was older than me. "No, our parents died when I was like 14" told him and he nodded. "There was one thing," she said. "Mom used to always never let Vivian out. She would always say Vivian is just too much for the world to see yet" Vanessa triggered memories. "No. Stop." I said and looked at Kaleb. "I forbid you to talk to her about me. I will not think about it" I told him and he parted his mouth and tilted his face. He looked as if he was a little kid saying it's unfair. "Is there any way I can get to sleep?" I asked and he nodded and reached for my hand a blank cloud surrounded us and took me to his room.
