Time Fast Forward: A Month Later

Dew's POV

"Finally, we're free!" Jason said as he raised his hands in the air taking a stretch. We stepped out of our college after taking the last term exam.

"Do not disturb me for the next three days, I'll be catching up on all the sleep I've lost," Mayor added,

I laughed, "I literally just want a vacation. I've seen your faces for a little too long now," I said,

Jason frowned and smacked the back of my head, "You will keep seeing this handsome face for the rest of your life, be grateful," he said snaking his arm around my shoulder,

"I might go clubbing tonight, anybody in?" he asked,

Mayor put his bag around his shoulder, "I'm leaving, see you guys!" he said and practically ran away. Going clubbing with Jason just means being a personal chauffeur for his drunk self, hoping he would not puke on your shoulder,

"What about you?" he asked turning to me,

I gave him a sympathetic smile and patted his shoulder, "You've just got some rude ass friends, buddy. See you," I said and walked away.

My plan for today was to relax and study. But now that it's over, I deserve a proper sixty-five-hour sleep.

Soon I reached my house and saw Sky standing outside his house talking to Sia. She saw me as I was entering my house, so I waved back to her. She then gestured and called me to come over,

I went and smacked the back of Sky's head,

"The heck?" he almost yelled, and hit me back,

"It wasn't even that hard," I defended,

He then hit my arm again, "Take that," he said proudly,

"Oh, so you want it like this," I was about to hit his arm back when Sia interrupted us,

"Enough, you guys! What are you, kindergarten kids?" she said keeping her hands on her waist, sighing,

"He started it first," Sky said,

"But he continued it," I defended,

"I seriously don't know if you both ever grew up," she sighed, "Anyway, I can't come with you, Sky. I really have loads of work to finish," she said turning to Sky,

"You know I can't go alone. I need someone to assist," he whined,

She looked at me and a big grin appeared on her face, "Why don't you take Dew along?" she asked,

"Take me where?" I asked back, confused about where I popped up in their conversation,

"Not in forever," he told Sia folding his arms,

"So, Sky has this faculty project where everyone has been assigned places to visit. Then they have to make an artwork consisting of three sketches inspired by the place. They're allowed to take along one partner," she explained to me,

"Why don't you ask your friends, then?" I suggested,

"Thanks for the idea, genius, but I asked them, and they had their partners set already," he said bitterly,

"So, why don't you go with him, Dew? It's just a three-day trip," his sister said,

"Aren't you afraid one of us might just bury the other alive there? I mean it's a beach, you never know," I said.

She laughed, "Sky, you know there's no one you can go to ask this favor for,"

"Will you go, Dew?" she asked me,
