i sit up and turn it off before dragging my tired body out of bed to my bathroom, I start playing my summer playlist through my bathroom speaker before i hop in the cold shower
i know i know cold showers in the morning
ick
but i need it today, it's boiling hot and im tired as hell so a cold shower should hopefully wake me up
i get out of the shower after 5 minutes, put on my boxers and dance around my bathroom to bob marley as i dry and fix my hair
i go back out to my bedroom and change into cream shorts and a green tshirt

"sweetie come say bye i have my shift at the hospital" my mom calls from downstairs
i race down the stairs to the front door where my mom is looking for her keys
i see them on a stair on my way down so i pick them up and take them to her
"here ma" i hand them over
"oh thank you my angel boy" she kisses my cheek
"i need to get going remember to take your pills and let me know if you have a panic attack okay?"
"i will love you ma"
"i love you sweetie see you tonight" she closes the door behind her
i get my breakfast and take my anxiety pills before getting in my car and heading to pick up the twins, Cass and Arlo, they're two of my best friends along with Zack and Natalia
"hey Cass hey Arlo" i smile as they get in my car Arlo in the front Cass in the back as usual
"hey Christian" Cass smiles from the back
"hey man" Arlo grumbles
"awhh you still sleepy Arlo" i poke his cheeks
"fuck off i was watching tv all night i forgot to sleep" he wines making me and Cass laugh loudly
we make it to school after 10 minutes
i smile at everyone as i make my way through the school and they smile back
we all stop at my locker and i see Zack and Natalia making their way over
"hey guys" i grin
"hey guess what there's a new girl" zack tells us
"really we've not had anyone new in ages" i say
"yeah apparently she's hot aswell"
"well im glad you've got your priorities in order zack" Natalia laughs
"oh of course" he grins as we all laugh
"ughhh i forgot to take my work to miss madden ill see you all at lunch" cass runs off down the corner - -
