Natalia POV

Back to school shopping with my mom is one of the most energy sucking things on this Earth I forgot how excited she gets around the start of the school year and now it's Monday and I'm paying the price for forgetting such a thing.

"Natalia hurry up and change so I can get a picture!" My mom yelled from down the hall as I heard her running around the house like it was on fire.

Geez I swear she's going to trip and fall one of these days.

"Ok mom I'm coming!" I yelled back as I quickly got dressed and left my room with my bag and hoodie and toe because in my mom's words 'your hoodie covers your outfit'.

She quickly got me in place as she pulled out her phone, made me smile, and proceeded to take probably one of the most noticeable forced pictures ever known to man.

"Good, now that I got you to smile and take a picture, even though you look like you're being forced to have you texted Anna about your return?" My mom asked as she put her phone away.

"No I haven't." I answered back as I got my 'hoodie that covers your school outfit' on which made my mom do the most dramatic gas I've ever heard.

"And why haven't you?" My mom asked as if I had just committed the biggest sin.

I groaned as I continued to get ready, I forgot that Anna practically is like a second daughter to my mom plus the fact she supports Anna's unhingeness but still.

"Mom you know how Anna gets when she hears I'm even 2 hours near here." I said as I remembered the awkward memory of when I told her I was about 3 hours away from town.

Tell me how she tracked me down and then proceeded to practically tackle me to the floor as soon as she saw me, I swear I never found out how she did it.

"Oh come on, she's not that bad plus that time was funny." My mom said with a laugh.

I gave her a look before continuing my morning which made her laugh as she got her coat on.

"I'm gonna text her while I'm on the way there so that way she doesn't physically come and attack me." I explained to my mom who laughed at my choice of words before speaking.

"Ok, but tell her I said hello for me when you see her in person because I'm going to drop you off and head straight to work so I won't be able to." My mom instructed as we both left the house and got into the car.

"Yes ma'am." I said in a mocking tone causing her to gently push me making me giggle.

"Buckle in." She said as she gave me a look before starting the car and began to drive me to school as I looked out the window as she drove.
