A young girl with light brown, almost blonde hair, gets up excited in a way she didn't imagine she would be on normal days. In the window, a bird pokemon watched her, not even needing to wake her up like she normally did.
"not this time, Fletchling." a girl said
"Chirps." Fletchling told in response
The girl takes a paper from the desk, rereading it once more since she had recived it, becoming so engrossed that she almost doesn't hear the call from downstairs.
"Serena are you ready yet?" Grace said
The words or her mother awaken her to relaity
"I am going to get ready, mom." Serena exclaimed running to bathroom
After half an hour, serena comes out of the room, dressed in a black sleeveless and collarless top, light pink short shorts, black shocks reaching below the knees and black sneakers with ligjt red details. Her nother, a pretty woman with short dark brown hair and tanned skin, was already waiting at the table with the food ready.
"Look, I don't see you this excited normally." Grace said
"Today is a special day, mom." Serena responded
"But are you really sure about this, serena?" Grace asked not for the first time since a few days ago.
"It's sad in my opinion to see her give up on the Rhyhorn Race." Grace said
"I know, mom" serena closed her eyes, keeping jer smile, "But I really want to discover somethintg that I really enjoy doing, that's why I decided to travle."
"I understand that you want to do a pokemon Journey, but why did you choose to start so far away?" Grace said
"I, want to see what the world has to offer, mom."serena replied trying to convince her mom
"Are you sure it doesn't have to do with a certain person you have been corresponding with for years?" Garce asked smartly making her daughter blush
"No-no mom, I really want to travle and discover something I really want to do." said serena
"I jyst want you to be okay, serena." Grace said with a smile
"Let's have breakfast and thei I will help you pack your things. The that will take you to Lumiose City will soon be here." Said Grace
"Right." serena replied, who then focused on breakfast. Some time after finishing eatinf and washing the dishes, the two go up to the serena's room, where Grace helps her organize her travle bag, while serena can't decide about which hat to wear.
"I an unable to select." said serena, frustrated
"Mom, which one should I wear?" serena showed her mother the two hats
Obe pibk and the other reddish brown. Grace looked closely at the two hats in her daughter's hand.
"What about this?" Grace said pointing at the reddish -brown one
